HAPPY TAILS SEAFOOD — Restaurant in Alabama

My wife and I went here for lunch to try a place we had not been before. You order at the counter from a pretty big menu. Prices range largely based on the current prices of seafood. You can eat in but this is more of a takeout spot for me. We ordered the Catfish Platter with fries and coleslaw as well as a Catfish and Shrimp platter with fried okra and fries. Both boxes were stuffed with food. Both were currently priced at $12.99 each at the time of this review. The price was fair for the amount of food. It is a good value considering how much a lot of other places are. The food was fried very well and had a good flavor. Fries and okra were crispy and delicious. The shrimp were really good. The fried fish was cooked right but I was not sure if the fish was catfish as we ordered or swai which is also an option. Either way it was good but it didn't look like catfish. First time eating at this place and will certainly be the last. This is the worse place I have eaten in 10 years. I got there at 12:57 and by 1:40 still had no food.. asked about it a couple times and their response was it's on its way. Everybody behind me had received their food and gone so I was mad of course, finally at 1:58 they found it with another take out order. with no apology I had my food. And that was the worse food I have eaten in several years. I will never go back so just be aware of this place. By the way there were 2 more customers in there having trouble!!!!!!!! Don't even want to give them 1 star........🤮🤮 And prices are outrageous for a fast food...

I recommend you shop at D&H located at 200 Meaher Ave, Mobile, AL 36610 best seafood in mobile al!!! ...Happy Tails sold me refrigerator cold snow crabs that really really really upset me!!!!!🤬I couldn't enjoy my food🤬🤬they say they have specials but you come off better buying off the menu it's not worth it I had to still buy extra to satisfy myself the food seasoning was eatable not the best.. and the butter was barely able to be tasted my snow crab claws only had half the meat in each one!!!
