Lucille's Eatery — Restaurant in Alabama

We visit Wind Creek Montgomery often, but this was me and my husband's first time experiencing Lucille's. After our first visit, we were hooked! Now, you will definitely wait for a period of time, as they are serving casino members AND the public, but the wait was always worth it to us. Also, let's be honest, if you're staying at the hotel, they're open 24 hours AND they're cheaper than Itta Bena and the BB King's Restaurant. We ate there one to two times a day for all 3 days we were there, and every dish was delicious! The employees there were decent and professional, but one, Whitney, stood out! She was friendly, helpful, and went over and beyond...especially after she so kindly replaced my cheesecake I had not received the night before...always a friendly attitude and smile, and of all the thousands of people they serve, she remembers you...very personable, and she seems to solve issues quickly and effortlessly. Shout out to her! Anywho, food was always hot, fresh, and good in our experience...from patty melts, to pork chop dinner, nachos, cheeseburgers, to even their lasagna dinner (with meat) everything perfect, and well worth the 10-20 minute wait. Also, they give you a number that they call when your order is ready, and they even give customers 30 minutes to retrieve their order if they somehow become occupied or get on the slots or something. They are the worst of the worst in the food industry! To name it Lucille's is disrespectful!!! How is this place still in business? Every single cashier and attendant has the worst attitude EVER! WHEN IS WINDCREEK GOING TO DO A REALITY CHECK? Went on 7/20/24 at 1:10pm if this helps WINDCREEK any to narrow down the exact mostly professional employees you have! ATTITUDE! ATTITUDE! ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!! You know and we know you know!!! Do something about it!!! NO more MONTGOMERY for us! You get better service at Quincys 777 and they are terrible!. Just close it and start over!. Had a casino salad , both my friend and I got food poisoning from the boiled eggs in the salad. We went to the Lucilles around 8pm 11/6/2021. The next day we were sick as a dog and went to the Dr. that following weekday thinking we had Covid, but it was in fact food poisoning. I called Lucilles eatery and the lady basically called me a liar saying there’s no way I could have gotten food poisoning from her because she boils her eggs early in the morning and they are “good for 24 hours”. Mind you we got the salads after 8pm so that means the salads had been sitting all day. After that she offered me a “$10 food credit “ for something else. Won’t eat here again.
