I hate to say it, but our experience was pretty disappointing, overall. We got take-out: 1# of pork and a large potato salad. This place is spotlessly clean and the service staff is friendly and they seem happy to be there. For the Cullman area, this is rare and stands out for me. Though I did not enjoy the food that we ordered, we will be back to try something different because of the staff and cleanliness of the place. The pork that we received had large chunks of WAY overcooked outside meat. It was not burned, it was just hard and dry. Overall, the meat was very dry. The sauce is pretty good. The potato salad is definitely my style of potato salad. I’m a potato salad snob and I don’t like any sweetness in potato salad. Their potato salad seemingly has no salt in it, at all. I almost never salt my food after it is prepared, but I had to put a ton of salt in it to make it better. This is disappointing because it has everything else going for it. I’ve included a photo of the hard and dry meat and a picture of the menu on 9/13/2025 to show the updated prices (approximately 50% higher than the other pictures of the menu show). I have no issue with the prices, but other folks may appreciate seeing their actual current prices. I would not order the pulled pork again, but I will definitely be back to try something different of their other offerings. I would definitely recommend folks to try this place in hopes that my food was not typical of what they...

Great family barbecue place. Had a friend, who likes bbq, in town from Canada. We called in advance to be sure that we could bring a little pup if we ate outside and were told that was fine. Upon our arrival there were no tables set up outside so I stuck my head inside and asked. Our waitress brought chairs outside (wouldn’t let me carry them), wiped the table, got our drinks and took our order. Evidently they don’t usually seat people outside except in cooler weather or when packed inside. Our waitress not only took care of us, but she also took good care of the dog. She brought out a bone after checking to be sure I was okay with it and asked about a bowl and water (which we had brought with us). I had the brisket nachos and my friend had a regular brisket plate. Both lunches were very good and the waitress was very attentive even though we were her only customers outside. Great folks and good food. Love their homemade potato chips. Have eaten there before and will gladly eat...

The staff was nice, but the food was underwhelming. The chips they bring to the table when you first sit down, are bland. They need salt and the one dash of seasoning on them is not enough to actually flavor the chips. The half chicken looks seasoned, but majorly lacks in flavor. It was pretty bland. The barbeque beans tasted like they were baked beans from a can that had been cooked down to almost dry, with some pulled pork tossed in it. They had no barbecue flavor at all, so I had to add a squirt of barbecue sauce. They gave us two sauces, one classic sweet barbecue & the other was the white barbecue that tasted like vinegar mayo (gross). The collard greens tasted like it was blanched in just water, no seasoning at all. The brisket lacked tenderness and flavor period. Like has this place heard of salt, pepper, and garlic at least??? The food could so easily be upgraded with some...

Loved this family business. Close to the interstate with plenty of parking and a drive-thru. Service with a smile. Went in for breakfast, I had a breakfast special with a side of smoked chicken. When the food was brought out also came a white bbq sauce, a local favorite. The food was amazing and the sauce was great! We also asked if it was possible to get a couple brisket sandwiches to go since it was only 9AM. They gladly took the time to make it even though they were very busy. Can't wait have them for lunch!
