I love Popeye’s chicken. Unfortunately, the Popeye’s on Redstone Arsenal has disappointed me several times since I moved here in January, but today was the worst and I felt I needed to say something. I ordered the 8 piece spicy. Easy enough right? Well I get home and out of the 8 pieces 5 were wings. Plus, the chicken was borderline burnt. The meat was dry and the skin was greasy. The cashier at the redstone arsenal Popeyes had terrible service. First they don’t have any chicken ready for spicy and said we have to wait but yet only offers breast and then when you ask for all dark meat because they don’t have any ready the cashier charged each individual piece so I ended up paying 36 dollars for 8 pieces and then had to wait for almost 30 minutes for them to cook it.
