I was here 10-30-25 at 2:30 am, I was literally the only customer in the house. I asked for a Texas bacon patty melt with extra bacon, extra slice of cheese and two eggs over easy on top, to go. I wanted the yokes to run on my patty melt. I was really specific that I wanted the sandwich wrapped and the yolks to run, told them that I didn't care how much of the second egg got on the sandwich as long as the 2 yolks were on it. I've ordered this a dozen times or more from various waffle houses, it's never been a problem. Apparently this was beyond the capability of the workers at this location that night. I opened my bag to look and see if I needed anything else and lo and behold, an unwrapped sandwich sitting in a clamshell container. I mentioned politely that I really hoped they would wrap it, and I was informed by the cook that it was impossible, the sandwich was too messy and it would rip the paper. Like I said this is my go-to, it's never been a problem before at other locations and I've always got it to go and wrapped. I didn't even open the clamshell to look at the sandwich. I got in my car and continued my 3-hour drive. I opened the clamshell 2 minutes after leaving to discover that the yokes not only weren't runny they were just two yellow pucks, they were literally sitting on either side of the sandwich hanging out one of them was so far out of the sandwich it was laying on the plastic. I was the only customer in the store, my whole order was $31. I paid $31 and they couldn't even take the time to wrap the sandwich or make sure the contents stayed on top of the sandwich or that the eggs were cooked the way I asked. I would understand if it was really busy and they didn't want to take the time to do it the way I asked but I was literally the only customer in the establishment at 2 am on a Thursday morning. I'm really sorry I stopped at that open waffle House and ordered food as apparently it was a huge inconvenience to the workers. I didn't get an apology or an offer to be given a wrapper to put it on the sandwich myself. Just an annoyed look that followed me all the way out to my car. Had I known the yokes weren't even on the sandwich, I just would have turned around and walked off. It's really disappointing to spend that much money at a place for them to not even put in the bare minimum effort to give you what you asked for. They have an item similar to this already on their menu. When I got down the road a bit I stopped at a gas station to buy a lighter and gave the sandwich away to a guy with a painting van. I left out a bunch of details but I won't be going to this location ever again and won't be eating at any Waffle House for a long while. It would have taken her an extra 45 seconds to...
Read moreUnfortunately I will not be returning to this waffle house. I went there today for my son's graduation breakfast for him. It was just us two and another gentleman sitting in the restaurant. There were 3 people working. After we ordered, I received my food about 5-7 minutes before my son. They then brought his food out without his hash browns he ordered. I gave it a bit, tried to give the benefit of the doubt that they were still cooking. When I finally inquired about them, my waitress was claimed we hadn't ordered it and then made it VERY clear that it was stressing her out and tried to make it seem as if we were such an inconvenience by huffing very loudly before putting a new order in for the hash browns. I HATE any form of rudeness to our service industry. So I didn't say anything, we got our hash browns about another 7 minutes later. I did not tip, which I hate to do. But I will not enable bad service. This was a special event for my son and you should not provide bad service and expect people to pay the same price as if they got good service. The waitress and waiter were only responsible for two people in the whole restaurant. Tell your waiter to get off his phone and do his job if y'all need help. There's no reason someone's dining experience that they are PAYING FOR gets put second to someone's time sitting on their phone. I've worked as a waitress, so I have all the patience, but that also means I know when someone is understaffed and trying their hardest, and when a team is not utilizing themselves to the fullest. Read moreMy husband and I went to this location to eat Sunday Nov 14th around 5:30 pm.. we were the only people in there while we ate. There were 3 employees working. Our food arrived quickly, and tasted good. However, the employees left a bad taste in my mouth. The ENTIRE time we were in the restaurant, the 3 of them talked bad amongst themselves, at an out loud volume, about several of their coworkers who weren't there at the time. They discussed all the things that the earlier shift didn't do properly.. or at all. They discussed that they need a different manager, what all the manager does & doesn't do properly. They even discussed a pregnant coworker, said they believe she fakes having high blood pressure so she can go home early every day. I've worked retail all my life, I completely understand that there will be discussions about coworkers, but there's a time & a place for that. It's not when people are trying to enjoy their food at a restaurant. For all they knew, that could be my niece or something. (She isn't, don't even know who she is, but that's the point I'm making). At one point, the young lady who was working did apologize to us for having this discussion while we were in there... which tells me she knew it was wrong, but then she proceeded to continue the conversation. So, as far as food & service goes, I would've given 5 stars, but your employees need to learn how to act when customers...
