Yes our pizza was hot and that was the only positive. They have some ridiculous rules regarding topping changes, and all I wanted was my mushrooms and onions on half of the pizza but no they didn't allow that, so I settled for pepperoni and sausage to please my husband and the sausage is ground so fine that it's hardly sausage. This was New Year's Eve and our day was doomed from the beginning, but let's go back to Nov 8 when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, ok so ffwd to New Year's, we decide to get a room in Daphne to watch the firework's from Downtown Mobile. 1: our run wasn't ready till almost 5 Our favorite pizza place was closed for New Year's The next pizza joint we found our pizza came out ice cold ( I refused to pay for nor eat) We have final hope with Y pizza and yes even after I told him of the disasters we encountered that day plus the cancer he was unwilling to accommodate us and his only solution was to order 2 pizzas well that's ridiculous too.
In short he was the last stop to a really bad day, but hey at least we had fireworks to look fwd to, guess what City of Mobile decided not to do fireworks this year, and I got us a balcony room on the bay to see fireworks.
I have had better $ 1.00 frozen pizzas then what we had here, and it's not square or round it's oval or something and hardly any cheese, oh and no military discount, but yes he htave us a dessert to take with us.
The restaurant is very small, and the floors are very slippery(I was wearing good sneakers and still felt like I would fall). Restaurant was clean I'll give then credit for that.
I can promise this review would be 5 stars if they could have accommodated my choice in toppings based on what was going on and being that my husband was having chemo on the Tuesday after New Year's, I'm not using his cancer as an excuse to get things but it's a living hell and just 2 toppings on a pizza would have changed the entire day and beginning to the New Year but his refusal just made it...

I have tried multiple sandwiches, and deserts. I won't recommend desert because I bake, and I'm super picky. I will recommend the philly, or chicken cheese steaks, and the muffaletta. 10/10
YPizza will soon celebrate their One Year Anniversary. After patronizing their business these past several months, we are looking forward to celebrating with them. We wish them great success! If you've not tried them, please do. Be sure and let me know what you think, should you decide to go.
Old review: Let me start with a disclaimer. I am not a pizza person. I've had pizza that I've enjoyed, but seems like everyone is failing these days. We had the all meat pizza. It was good. Very thin, like cardboard, but it wasn't as tasteless. š I would prefer the crust to be buttered and seasoned. DH said he liked it better than Pizza Hut. Trattoria, and Vitoli's, have served us pizza with a gooey, unbaked center a few times. Mellow is straight out with that brown crust. So, YPizza it is.
The guys that were there when we dined in were very friendly. It has a neighborhood atmosphere. I liked that. It's convenient for a lot of folks to just "grab and growl" (To-Go orders), and I think that's great with everyone always being so busy.
Here's to hoping they can keep it going. I'll look forward to trying something else on the menu. I've heard their sandwiches...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis could easily be a 5 star review and location. Firstly, I'll go over just a couple things that could bring it to 5 stars.
Making the plates glass with metal cutlery would have made it much more enjoyable. We were cutting pizza on thin paper plates with a plastic knifes and forks.
They charge a 3.50% processing fee, In my opinion the processing fee is a cost of doing business and should not be passed the the customer.
Now to the good,
The pizza was some of the best pizza I've ever had and the menu had plenty to choose from. The drinks were self serve which I enjoyed but some may find in inconvenient. The service was good. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and instructed to sit anywhere we like. We got the cheesey bread as an appetizer, although a bit on the pricey side for what you get, was really good. The pizza we got two 17in, 1. The Kitchen Sink 2. Pepperoni. They were both amazing. 10/10. I'll be...
