As a small business owner myself, I understand how valuable honest feedback is — which is why I’m sharing my experience here.

I drove over an hour to this shop for a simple piercing jewelry change. The shop is listed as opening at 11AM, but the doors didn’t unlock until 11:07. That might not seem like much, but when you’ve traveled a long distance and have to plan around work and traffic, every minute counts — especially when a business posts specific hours across all platforms.

Once inside, I waited nearly 20 minutes while the previous client — a minor with a parent — lingered in the room chatting after their service was already done. There was still another client ahead of me, and it was clear things were moving slowly. I started to get anxious about being late for work (which I wouldn’t have been if the shop had opened on time), so I politely asked if I could just purchase the jewelry and change it myself. The lady at the counter was kind and helpful, even checking my nails to see if I’d be able to manage it.

I had no problem paying nearly $80 for the jewelry — the quality is great. My issue is with the lack of professionalism and time management. This shop is run by one person, and it shows — there’s no sense of urgency, and clients’ time doesn’t seem to be respected.

What really rubbed me the wrong way, though, was how my first review was handled. Instead of taking the feedback in stride, the owner posted it on his personal Facebook page and used it to fish for more positive reviews, all while making me out to be the villain. That kind of behavior is petty and unprofessional, especially from someone who should understand the value of transparency and accountability.

I won’t be back. The jewelry is nice, but I’d rather shop online than waste time and deal with this kind...

My daughter, niece, and I all have multiple piercings from Aaron over the past 15 years. When my niece experienced unexpected bleeding after a piercing, Aaron handled it with care and composure. He kept her calm, stopped the bleeding, and even helped identify that it may have been caused by low iron levels from her vegetarian diet—prompting a positive dietary change that day.

This review is long overdue and I owe a review because it is important to share good experiences. I had a second earlobe piercing many years ago which would not heal, so I ended up pulling the earrings. I have been wanting to try this again for awhile, so when Aaron opened his shop, I thought it was perfect timing. I explained to Aaron what happened years ago with my right ear, so he knew what we were dealing with. Anyway, all went well with the initial piercing, but within a couple of weeks I was having issues again with my right earlobe. Overall, Aaron saw me multiple times to get this ear straightened out and I have to say that he is so kind and patient. I do not know why my right ear is so finnicky, but it is, however my ears are healing and finally on track.
