Well I always come here and this place is basically synonymous with Alamogordo in my mind. I've never had a bad drink here or a bad cookie, tough I would say their sandwiches always seem to have an odd aftertaste and I don't order them. They have the best iced tea for a hot summer day. They have the most beautiful sweeping views of the basin and White Sands and plenty of places to sit comfortably, including outside. The patio gets a little too sunny where the tables are set up for me but I love it indoors. You can always find out what's up in the community with the events posted on thewall. The wifi often goes out but a lot of people are using it. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. The same people have been working here for years and are always nice and know how to make everything I ask for. They rarely run out of stuff. So overall I really like this place and enjoy meeting friends here or coming for some quiet time with headphones and my laptop. I also frequently visit the drive thru as it's convenient and I prefer supporting a small local business to Starbucks. Oh and the lines are always shorter here than Starbucks. so it's worth it to me even though I do have to drive across town from where I live and work as it's farther than Starbucks from me. I hope this place stays open for a...

This basic coffee shop offers various coffee and tea selections cold or hot, it also has a small sandwich menu. I opted for the pumpkin coffee and it was ok, the brew was quite strong so I couldn’t really taste the pumpkin, my daughter’s London Fog tea was refreshing and good. We also ordered a Ham and Swiss Croissant and a Reuben Panini, they come with some pickle slices and chips on the side. My daughter enjoyed her Reuben but I found my Ham and Swiss Croissant lacking flavor. It was very thin and lacking both ham and cheese. I wouldn’t order the sandwiches again, not worth the price. The girl that took our order seemed tired or like she just wanted her shift to end, she wasn’t rude just inattentive.

This coffee shop is located on a great spot and the inside is very spacious and has lots of small tables and chairs but it’s not very cozy. They do have a sofa seating area on one of the corners. This place has lots of potential but right now it just doesn’t have much ambiance, the atmosphere feels very clinical to me and my daughter agreed. I’m sure there’s people that don’t really care about that, they just want some coffee and well, if that’s the case, this is a place that can...

I don't really go to cafes however I took my friend to Plateau Espresso and we both got frappes and strawberry danishes and the frappe was absolutely delicious I finished it before I realized it and wanted another it was absolutely worth the price also the Danish was delectable it was flaky but not dry had the best strawberry flavor and left me wanting more as well. We took our items outside and despite the chill in the air the view was beautiful and they also had another area that we went to to get a better panorama view. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone also the sweet girl that served us I feel horrible because I didn't catch her name (I wasn't paying attention) however she was polite and had our order out so quickly I wasn't sure if it could actually be ours. In summary this place is absolutely a hidden gem and I gave them 5 stars because they deserve it and I will be going back when I want that frappe fix honestly McDonald's and Starbucks are now my last resorts when it comes to frappes because they can't beat Plateau Espresso I...

Employees, apparently family members, are rude to customers. This young individual was being very disrespectful to my wife, her friend, and in front of some younger children. Was messy when hastily making the dessert that they forgot, and got even more rude when given some constructive advice from someone who has graduated restaurant management. While my family was trying to enjoy their dessert and the sunset, this same person had the audacity to come out and kick my family off the premises. Beware of this business. If the owner has common decency, he should refund the $18.07 she paid. Although that's not near enough apology for the way my wife and friends were treated.

Coffee is great but view might be better! If you are a fan of the New Mexico sunset come and have a coffee here! The coffee shop is nestled in the foothills and sits on top of a little plateau overlooking Alamogordo and the San Andres mountains to the west. My pictures don't do it justice but it is a truly beautiful place in Alamogordo.
