This drive-through coffee stand offers tasty, worth-it, on-the-go food options and consistently smooth and delicious coffee, as well as premade snacks and refreshing teas, energy drinks, and non-caffeinated beverages. The Iliamna breakfast burrito is a staple, especially with all of the fixings and the optional addition of guacamole. Their mocha (and mocha breve) is either the best in town or ties with some of the best in Fairbanks. The lattes are a reliable treat and the shots are pulled well, but be careful with added syrups, as they can get quite sweet. I go well out of my way to grab a bite and a drink from here living across town, and it is a must for my field work excursions...

I ordered their White Out Mocha with white espresso (lightly roasted beans with a higher caffeine concentration) a week ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Was the best caffeine beverage I’ve ever had 😍 It tasted earthy, creamy yet light. It was the perfect temperature and the most delicious beverage! No other coffee I’ve had will ever compare. Was a perfect stop while heading north out of Fairbanks!

Highly recommend stopping if you are in Fairbanks or travelling through, promise...

Did some hill climbing on the bike and my reward was to try out Back Woods Coffee. It was worth the effort! The low carb breakfast bowl was made with meticulous perfection. All the ingredients were layered and tasty. The coconut machiatto made me feel like I was on an tropical island in Alaska. Such a great taste. The staff were superb and the wait was not much of a wait.
