We had our meals here whenever it was open while we were in Talkeetna. We love the food especially the drunken noodles, be it just veg or with shrimp it was so good. The appetizers fried spring rolls and chicken dumplings were good. The shrimp fried rice was better compared to the chicken fried rice. The fried rices are tad bit dry but hey you are in Talkeetna and if you crave some Asian food & Thai (my savior cuisine in any new place) this is your holy grail. Do check if they’re open before going there. Its an open seating with just 2 large table and a small table if I remember correctly. And layer up accordingly since it’s an open seating but I’d noticed the take outs for this place is insane. I’m sorry for not posting pictures we were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures...

Haven’t gotten the food yet but the cashier (and she is also the cook?) had a really bad attitude. Answered my question impatiently without looking at me. Looks like she had a bad day. Well thanks to her, i also have a bad day now.

reply to the owner’s reply: I didn’t come in with an attitude — I asked a simple question politely because I had a surprisingly sweet Thai dish earlier that day and wanted to double-check. If I had assumed all Thai food was sweet, I wouldn’t have asked.

Your response was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I understand it was busy, but treating customers poorly isn’t excused by that. I came in with a good attitude, and your reaction changed that. If other customers didn’t bother you, then maybe ask yourself why I left feeling...

Ordered the spring rolls, panang curry, and pad thai to share with my husband for $41 + tip. Unfortunately the spring rolls and the accompanying sauce were the weakest effort I've ever tasted too bad. The panang curry saved the day a nice heat and complexity of flavors. The pad thai was a pale comparison and unaccompanied by the usual garnishments that would have afforded the opportunity for some flavor adjustments. Last, the portions were about 2/3 the size for about a 1/3 more of the price. Bummer, but hoOray for at least the curry ~ and I now have more incentive to go home and cook up some of my...

This Thai restaurant is awesome and on the way to Denali Park closer to Talkeetna. Its right on the highway so no rerouting/detours. Their thai food is better than most Thai restaurants I have tried in the US. Preparation is quick and variety is large. The mother daughter duo that run this place are awesome and it seems like a family run business. We had their cashew chicken, drunken noodles with tofu, panang curry and yellow curry and everything was delicious. The quantity for 1 curry is more than enough for 2 people.

It's a simple and small place. Order at the counter and eat at the tables outside. We just wanted a quick lunch but the quality of the food was way above what we'd expect form a road side shop at a tourist route with limited options! Pictured was a beef basil stir fry. We also had Penang curry with chicken, fried rice, and Pad See Ew(a noodle dish). All have rich flavors with balanced seasoning. Would definitely go back if in the area again!

If you want to enjoy some delicious Thai food on the way to Denali from Anchorage, this is the place to stop. We stayed in the Denali area for two days and had the chance to visit this restaurant twice. We tried the Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Drop Soup, Wonton Soup, and Yellow Curry, and every dish was fantastic. I’d give all the food we tried a perfect 5 out of 5. It's a great spot for tasty Thai food! Btw they close in winter.
