Trackers Lounge — Restaurant in Alaska

Very busy tonight. We were supposed to to have a 30-40 minute wait but within 5 minutes we had a table 👍

Staff pleasant enough. Bit slow sorting payment out after the meal. Bit slow on drink service. And had nothing of substance to say about the raw fish, just walks off.

I had fish and chips ($22 odd). I’ll only speak about it though my wife had the chicken burger (without tomato) and says she was satisfied with it.

Had a tablespoon of coleslaw as a side and a generous portion of chips. Tartar sauce was pleasant, tomato (ketchup) sauce was also provided.

3 small portions of fish. A thin batter not too oily on the mouth feel. A good squeeze of lemon juice helped cut through what oil there was.

Fortunately got through the fish portions (2 of them) before trying to cut into the third portion. Bit of undercooking unfortunately.

I’m sorry I could not load a video here, so I’ve taken a frame out of the video of the uncooked fish.

I did mention this foopa to table waiter (who I mentioned above just walked off). I mentioned it to a second waiter who cleared the table and she said she’d mention it to the chef.

Yes, no empathy otherwise from staff.

Can't comment on the food but Alexandra the bartender absolutely made the last night of our hard earned vacation worth it. It was undoubtedly busy, but she was hustling with CVS receipt long tickets, handling the bar and two restaurants by her self. To the management, you needs a barback. Several tables were upset with service but as far as I could tell it was a staffing issue, not the employees themselves. Thank you for a fine farewell...
