Billy Joe's Pool Room — Restaurant in Albany

Billy Joe's, while providing a decent karaoke experience on Friday evenings, is somewhat sullied by the actions of those incapable of acting as good humans under the influence of alcohol. My experiences over the past three visits have resulted as thus: my first visit in months, I attempted to get an acquaintance out of the building to deescalate a misunderstanding was assaulted over my shoulder. Thankfully he didn't press charges. The second visit, I was harangued by an intoxicated female who berated me for singing a song as she sang it. Apparently, and this keeps the review at three stars, a bouncer was present the last time I visited. It left a good impression on an otherwise sullied experience. Absolutely wonderful bartenders with a very friendly crowd. This is a beer only bar so don't expect to get a margarita or any other mixed drinks.
