Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Albany

Apparently when they change hands they must've done something all kinda wrong because the food tastes terrible. My mom said that there was something wrong with meet and later threw up threw up her sandwich. When are called to tell people how awful the sandwich why they were very nice. The bread was completely stale ruin the sandwich. Not that the inside of the sandwich was all that great anyway. I hadn't been there in 2 years and I was so excited to eat there but when I got the food it fell completely flat I didn't like it it's terrible I had the fries in like them but how can you really mess up french fries so we will not be going back after spending $40 there we feel we wasted our money but they were very nice just need to get back to the roots of who the people were before when is eddies own it. We had gotten a muffalata and it was completely greasy they said they would put roast beef on it but always really found with Bologna in salami and it wasn't on traditional bread and it was extremely greasy. Far as I'm concerned I'm not really mad at them its just they need to figure out how to make sandwiches is there going to be called the Sandwich Shop and we won't be going back just because it tastes terrible but they are very nice people and I hope them the best definitely hoping they figure out how to make sandwiches too tired to edit post ... Can someone explain to me why THE SANDWICH SHOP got my order wrong FOUR TIMES. And I mean FOUR TIMES. I called to ordered a super deluxe bacon cheese turkey burger, a bacon turkey burger with no tomatoes or pickles, a large and small tater babies, and a large and medium butterscotch malts. I clarified multiple times that the super deluxe burger had cheese on it over the phone and again when i was going to pay for my order, the guy said “yes, there will be cheese o. that burger.” Well, I’m sure you can guess that the burger did NOT have cheese on it. My burger, the bacon turkey burger, had pickles on it. I sent it back to be remade, this time it comes out with tomatoes. Reminder, I said no tomatoes or pickles. They made my burger three times. By this time, my burger is cold. Not even warm. COLD! He also said I had a medium and small malts. I had to correct him on that as well. By the time he finally got the burgers right, my tater babies are cold and both of my malts are mostly melted. I paid $37 for terrible customer service and terrible quality food. Personal opinion, the only reason this place is still open after all these years, is because they are the only place thats not fast food around. LET’S BRING...

Called order in . 7/21/2023 . Large shrimp poboy , Fried Chicken Sandwich and Large Fry . Said 25 minutes . Got there they said it wasn't ready yet . Looked around . Nobody in the place had food . Was another 20 minutes before it was done . The prices on the menu online were wrong . But got the food home and it SUCKED . The fries were limp and full of oil and not finished cooking . My shrimp were so salty I couldn't eat it . The wife said the first couple of bites in her sandwich was GREAT . Then a bite of something real nasty . This is not normal for this place . Most every time we go there I would feal good about the purchase . Not this time . Felt RIPPED OFF .The Girl working the counter told everyone that they were sorry things were so slow . I said well we all know our food will be HOT. That was the only good thing . It was hot . Just Nasty and a waste of money . Hope they get it together over there . Been eating there a long time . When it was Eardys . So over 30 years . Looked like nothing but a bunch of kids working there now .Not saying that is a bad thing . They just seam to not have been trained on how to do things ....
