Ly Cuisine — Restaurant in Albemarle

Albemarle really doesn't have anywhere to eat worth talking about. Grew up down there but didn't know this place even existed. It was just by chance that I looked up "Places to eat near me" and happened to see it. So I tried it for lunch and had the Scorpion Chicken. It was so good that my wife and I went there for dinner the same day and the food was just as good the second time. It is a very quaint little place, no noise, no sirens, and not a lot of traffic. We had no issues with the service and the food was awesome. The owners were very friendly and I noticed that they took time to talk to their customers. For me personally, I'm not a people person and just happy sitting quietly and enjoying my meal. The chicken was very tender and the food fresh. Hidden Jem Remember the time you could eat real home cooked food at a local Mom & Pop restaurant, surrounded by friendly patrons all discussing how amazing the food was? This was our Mayberry experience.

Xeem (pronounced 'Sang') who is the owners son, runs the front of house of Ly Cuisine. He was super friendly and incredibly helpful showing us around the menu. What a wonderful employee.

I rode by this place for years unsure if I should try. Let me say this tonight we had dinner take out from this place and it was the best food I have gotten in many years. The steak everyone was taking about..... words can’t describe it was fantastic! The other meals were great but let me say try the steak!!!!! I hope this place stays in stanly co but it doesn’t belong here! It’s amazing food!!!!!! 4 complete meals were very affordable!!
