What a wonderful local place to have an amazing meal, and get to meet some pretty incredible locals. The food is home-cooked, wonderful portions, great comfort food. Gail the owner and her staff are so gracious and friendly. My mother-in-law has taken us here once a week for a couple of years. We really like the location, the vibe, the food has a great home cooked flavor. Highly recommend - if you’re in the area - stop by and say hi to Gail! It’s not fancy but that’s not why we go. We enjoy the vibe and the people. Love local, boots on the ground, restaurants!!!!

I've eaten here a few times. Today I had broccoli quiche with macaroni salad and banana split pie. The quiche comes with fruit but I wanted to try the salad. All were good. The decor is simple with decorative tin ceiling tiles. Service was prompt but didn't check back to see if all was well. I had to flag my waitress to ask for dessert. Menu says cash only but they now have a card reader at check out. New owner Melissa very nice,

Went for the 1st time with my mother for lunch and I must say that they did not disappoint. The service was great as well as the food. I will most definitely be going back. I did not get a chance to try the highly recommended pie 🥧 but I will the next time I stop to eat lunch.

Rosebriar is the place for lunch with friends. The food is good, prices are fair, service is friendly and dining room seating is open with old table and chairs and a few booths. A s.all private room is available for groups. They also cater. The menu items feature delicious home style deli sandwiches and plates. The Ruben is my favorite. Most folks like the grinder or all american burger. Their dieters plates are tasty too. If you're in the mood for a change try the soup and salad bar. It's not the biggest salad bar but good. What really makes this place great is the deserts. Fruity pies and chocolate pies are awesome. Almond Joy, Chocolate Silk, and Banana Split are my go to deserts. It was once an old grocery store and celebrates it's by gone character. Its located off the beaten path and is very popular. Get there early if you can but get there any...

We drove an hour to have lunch after we saw an article in Our State magazine. We were disappointed with the quality of the food and the menu selections. I guess we should’ve checked the menu beforehand because we did not realize that it was 95% sandwiches. We both tried a different pie and did not think they were that great. I chose the coconut custard with meringue on top. It is not meringue. It’s not baked and is not stiff like a meringue. It’s more like some sort of a whipped topping, and there was very little coconut in the pie. My friend had the chocolate silk pie and was disappointed as well. The atmosphere is very friendly and so was the waitress, but she was a bit overwhelmed. I think they could’ve...

We had lunch here and totally impressed with this restaurant. Opens at 11am and fills up fast. There is a large parking lot to the side and a turn around down the street . Inside the old tin ceiling is amazing worth a visit in itself but the food is very good in itself . The mustard potato salad was one of the stars with a Ruben sandwich excellent meal . The corn beef which the restaurant can't control could been seasoned more or left in the brine a couple days longer. What I really loved the 1000 island dressing was on the side and very tasty .. waitress was very good and knew the history of the restaurant which was very interesting to us . We had a very good...
