Blake's Lotaburger — Restaurant in Albuquerque

On 1/21/25 my child and I stopped at this location as we often do for a late lunch. We've eaten at this location several times over the last 6 mo and our visits have always been good. This time however was a much different experience. The guy who initially was taking our order almost immediately as soon as my kid started ordering lost all color in his face and appeared to become ill as if he were going to throw-up. After a short time of not being able to get himself together he walked away and another man who i am assuming is the manager took our order. We sat down to wait for our order when I went to get it the person who was ill and still looked very pale and peckish apologized for what happened and said he wasn't feeling well. To this I replied well you should be going home not at work thats how nurovirus starts and no one needs to be spreading that shit around. The manager replied that they were waiting for another employee to arrive. About 5 minutes later as we are eating I look over to see the manager with all his stuff walk out the door get into a car and leave. A few minutes after that another woman employee does the same. I get up to get some more napkins and see that the employee who at this point still looks ill is at the fry station cooking. I said they left you here to cook people food when you are sick? Why would they do that why aren't you going home He kinda agreed saying yeah I know I'm just waiting and I'm a little hungover. I said it doesn't matter why your ill you shouldn't be cooking people's food when you are so visibly ill its a health hazzard and you aren't even wearing a mask. By this point I was disgusted and ended up not even finishing my meal. As we were leaving I saw who I believe may have been the next manager on duty enter the building. I decided to call the corporate office knowing any complaint I made would most likely be ignored. When you call the corporate office you are directed to leave a message with details and I would get a call back. I do this leaving my name number the jest of what had happened this was around 3pm so I figured I would hear back from someone at the latest the next day. By noon on 1/23 I had yet to hear back from anyone so I called again. At first I thought there was something wrong with my phone because whenever I called the number there was a pause then I would get a busy signal. I called the number several times then decided to make sure it wasn't my phone made a couple other calls and they all went through just fine. I finished my errands for the day and attempted to call again and again the same thing happened so I decided to call the actual lotta burger location it happened at. Sure enough the same exact thing happens, a pause then the busy signal. I tried to call both numbers several times with no luck. When I got home I decided to use my husband's phone and wouldn't you know it...... both calls went though multiple times. My husband says they blocked your number. I didn't have any experience with this so I googled it and yup that's what happens when you've been blocked. Interesting move makes a person wonder what is being hidden. You should have just called me back and taken my complaint but now we have a bigger problem. Care to...

We'll, we will never return and DO NOT recommend to anyone. First time here in over 10 years, we decided to "treat ourselves" on a Sunday since we don't eat out much. We told the guy at the register our order, my kid wanted the chicken tender kids meal. After paying they didn't gave her the milk or drink, I asked them for it and they said it came with drink OR fries, so we told them "fries" to avoid conflict. Then we get our order, and they only give her the 2 chicken tenders, no fries! After asking them they refused to give her the fries claiming that it was extra! It states on the menu chicken tenders with fries or cookie AND drink or Milk !! But they refused, saying that we had to pay extra, so we basically paid 5.99+ tax for 2 chicken strips. We didn't want to ruin the "outing" so we left it at that, but I had to share my drink and fries with her and it was not satisfying to say the least, after more than $35. They are thieves, avoid it!

I went to their website because I couldn't believe that 2 chicken tenders were 5.99 and fries and drink extra ON A KIDS MEAL, of course not! It's clear that it's a meal and it is supposed to be included!!!! This place needs a new manager, and employees need training. Clearly we...

I paid for extra ingredients, when I got my order the burrito did not have any of the extra ingredients. I was obviously upset because I didn’t get what I ordered and when speaking to Dennis on the phone. She told me “if I didn’t change my attitude I wouldn’t get my burrito” I wouldn’t have been upset if my order was RIGHT in the first place I didn’t know that Blake’s had the right to deny me what I PAID FOR. As far as I am concerned that is robbery. If I knew that Blake’s lotta burger was a company that takes people money and then doesn’t deliver on what was purchased. Then I wouldn’t have gone there. To me my time is very valuable, and the fact that I have to waste my time going back so they can fix what shouldn’t have been wrong in the first place is extremely upsetting and top of that I have to deal with the attitude of the employees.
