Stufy's — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I'm basing my review solely on one item that I repeatedly order. I have a few reasons why I deducted 1 star. I will start with those reasons but will preface these criticisms by stating that a major contributing factor to these issues is simply Covid-19 related in nature. They have, by their own admission, too few employees resulting in slow service. I thought when I placed my order over the phone that I was smart and wouldn't have to wait as long. That appears to have been a mistake. Although they most likely completed the order in a timely manner, by the time I finally received the order it was barely warm and that's being generous. The line to get to the window for pick-up was backed out onto the street. I had timed it so that it should have been ready upon my arrival based on their guesstimate but having to wait in a painfully slow line allowed my food to cool down way too much. I asked at the window why nobody would answer my call when I arrived after repeated attempts to see if anyone would bring the food out so I could avoid the long drive-thru line. The person at the window genuinely apologized and stated they can't find help and we're unable to adequately cover the phone or take orders out on arrival.

Ok, now for the good part and reason for me taking the time to write. I always order a chile relleno burrito and ask to add chicharrones. Their chicharrones are perfection. They are crispy and relatively small and diced into little cubes. This is an absolutely amazing burrito and I can't say enough good about it, even if it has cooled down by the time you get to eat it. We have always loved Stuffies. You got to stick with their stuff sopapillas. All of the stuffed sopapillas are delicious. We tried to guacamole for the first time and it was not impressive. The taquitos were okay. We have never liked to the tacos. The thing that was really disappointing about this location was the line. They are not open inside the dining area. It is ridiculous that they are not. It was fun to go in there. Surely, covid hasn't made this place change so drastically that they have to be closed inside the dining area. Since the dining area was closed the line to get your order is so long. You have to wait forever and it takes so long to get your food. If you go there, you better not be in a rush to get back to work or a different event. Even if you call in your order, you still have to wait in that long line that takes a very long time. Today I waited in drive thru at stuffs for 15 min that's the only way to order besides calling the order in. When I received my order at the window the cashier said I put utensils and napkin in your bag I asked if there was honey for the sopapias ? cashier said yes so we drove way. I was about to eat my sopapia but there was no honey we were still in the area so we went back to stuffys. The doors are locked to go inside and they don't answer there phone and the line of cars goes around the building. When I go tell them that I need honey the cashier was rude and this little girl goes to the window and she's being rude . finally give us 2 packs of honey. When we are driving away the girl Flips us off. We eat here often but if we're going to get treated disrespectfully I'm not going back I hope the manager address ...
