Sho'Nuff BBQ — Restaurant in Alexander City

This place doesn't even deserve a one star rate.. but I cant post my review without a rate... me and my family used to love sho nuff. Until last night. We have always placed really big orders from there. We spent $125 lastnight only to get home and realize that half of our order was missing and the other half was completely wrong.. I called and let them know and was going to go back and pick up the rest. We just wanted was we was missing. I was told that I was lying because the girl checked the order as she was putting it into the bag which I was watching her and she did not. The owner got on the phone and told me to bring it back the next morning because they were closed, mind you this was 7.. they dont close until 8. I then asked what we was supposed to do for supper because it was the only thing we had. The owner proceeded to argue with me and then told us that our entire family was a joke!! We will not be spending another dime at this horrible place. Horrible...

Its been a while since i ate at sho nuff but i cant imagine its changed at all . If you love bbq ,you need to try sho nuff ! I have eaten bbq all over the usa and sho nuff is in the top 2 in my book . If i didnt live 3 hours away i would eat there every day . His bbq has a unique Smoky flavor due to the use of Hickory and pecan wood . His sauce has a well rounded not to spicy flavor . I recommend the slaw , fries and baked beans as sides . Terrific barbecue joint! The pork is tender and juicy and with the mixed sauce adds a little kick. My onion rings were amazingly light for being fried; crispy on the outside and tender inside. The baked beans were sweet and accented with onions. A pickle on the side added some acidity to cut the sweetness. Add white bread and a Coke for a fantastic meal. As a side note I wore a mask in and laid it on the table while I ate. A couple hours later I put the mask on to walk into my office and it smelled a tad like smoke and a lot like bbq.
