Cazadores Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Alexander City

The food at this establishment is easily deserving of 5 stars, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the service is literally the worst service I have ever encountered in my life. I ordered steak and chicken quesadillas, and even asked what came on it. I was told lettuce, jalapenos, guacamole, and sour cream. I told them no lettuce, and then when it was brought out the quesadilla had onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes on it, with all of the listed items above on the side. I simply asked for them to fix it again with just the steak and chicken on it, as I do not like any of those things. After that they were extremely rude to my family and I. Its like they were mad that they don't even know what comes on their own dishes. After being brought my food again, we did not receive any visits from the wait staff, and did not even get a single refill. I had to ask for the check from a waitress walking by, and she did not even acknowledge that I asked her a question. It really sucks that a place that has quality food like that thinks it is okay to treat paying customers like that. I would not recommend going there as the staff there are all rude and not willing to communicate...

Ordered a Chicken Quesadilla which had nothing but cheese and chicken. Thiught this would have been a lot better with peppers and onions , less cheese and more seasoning.It reminded me of something i would fix my grandchild who eats nothing with flavor.The chips and salsa they give you could have been better as well. It was lacking a smooth consistency, it actually was like crushed tomatoes mixed with water and some seasoning.It had all liquid in the top half with the crushed tomatoes in the bottom.The price was $2 cheaper than a decent Mexican restaurant It was my second time trying this place after having tried it when it first opened and was not pleased with it then either.The floor had napkins, straw papers a rag and a sign on it.It just didnt look clean.I will not be returning to this...

Have eaten here several times since living in Alex City. In 2023 it was great and we considered it the best around but over the past year or so it has slipped a lot. From the noticeable smell of rotting food in the dumpster as you walk through the parking lot, to the cold “Debbie Dip” and lukewarm entrees we received. As far as taste, they tasted decent at best - but you expect your food to be warm, right? Unfortunately we decided we probably won’t go back for those reasons and sanitary concerns we had.
