The food was decent but the service was terrible! We had a bigger than average sized party and would have honestly been ok with a little longer of a wait. Instead of seating all the people that came in behind us that would fit in booths in a booth, they kept seating them at the tables that could have been pushed together to seat our party. Once we finally got seated the waitress planted herself at the end of a table. She didn't even walk around with our drinks.. we had to pass them all around the table for her. I literally had to yell my order to her, and she still got it wrong. Three or four of the people in my party had to ask for the rest of our orders after the food was brought out to the table. Then, she overcharged me for my son's kids meal.. and, BE ADVISED kids meals do not come with a side! I got charged five extra dollars for macaroni and cheese!! When I said I want a kids meal hamburger WITH macaroni and cheese that would have been an awesome time for her to tell me that it doesn't come with the side and that the side was $5... The same price as the "kids meal"!! When I brought the issue to the cashier she honestly acted like she couldn't have cared less. She didn't even look up at me to acknowledge that I was talking.

This was the fourth time I've been there and I've never had an issue like this... This issue will probably cause me to never come back though. I spent more in this one visit for my son and I than I have in the last couple visits put together! The only reason why it wasn't just one star is because the food wasn't terrible, just way, WAY overpriced and the service...

This place is pitiful. I will concede that of all the breakfast places I have tried in Madison county this one has OK food comparatively. But the service here is just abhorrent. I have tried to refrain fron reviewing this place but I just can't anymore. Today we came in, told them we had a party of 5. The girl took us to a half booth half chair table, but it only had one chair. Then she walked off and never came back so 2 of our 5 just stood there until another patron brought us chairs from their table. By that point though we had already moved to another table. They also never gave us menus. At the new table we had some young kid as our server, he didn't come to the table for 20 mins. He brought one menu for 5 people. We finally ordered drinks, God forbid you ask for coffee here because you will get ONE cup, nothing more. The kid finally took our order, had us repeat everything multiple times. The food comes decently quick I'll give them that. But the kid didn't bring any toast, then he brought a piece of toast for a child who didn't want butter (it was ordered w/o butter.) So the kid took that as nobody gets butter. We asked like 15 times for all the different stuff we had ordered that he never brought. By the time we got it all most of it was cold. It was ok for what it was. Kinda ronchy but it looks like they were trying to clean up the place and my woman liked her plate for the most part so that was good. My bacon was really dark brown and even black so it was overcooked at least. I struggle to give it at 3 and almost gave it a 2 star but the waitress was nice. I know breakfast food gets cold quickly but my eggs were stone-cold. I left a $5 tip which is a little less than I usually leave. The waitress did a good job and I would have tipped more but the food just was not up to par on my end at least. Also the cinnamon swirl French toast was burnt on the bottom badly. If you like burnt bread and some people do I've heard then I'm sure you would like it but for myself and the woman it was . I definitely would have liked to have given a better review being that it's somewhat close to my house but sadly at this time at least I can't.. I would like to try it out again to see if it was just that particular cook that was working that morning but I'm hesitant to try again for the possible re incursion... Hope its better for the next guy. We are in our mid-thirties and everybody else there seem to be elderly so maybe it's something they prefer. I've heard good & bad things locally about this place and I would have to say I've heard more good so far so hopefully it was a one-time thing and the next time is good at least for...
