We moved to TX about 18 months ago. Our neighbor happened to be a friend of the owners, since she dog sits for them . Naturally , we paid this restaurant a visit as I love Italian food. When we got there, we did not mention our neighbor , because we did not want special any treatment or putting them on a spot. BUT , let me tell you , every one was so nice and friendly. The food was great , even my husband's dish though it was gluten free ( and its hard to make any food delicious when its gluten free !) . The owner then came to greet us and asked how we liked the food, and that's when we told him about the neighbor who suggested the restaurant t. Obviously, We have been there many times and we have ALWAYS had a positive experience and when we have company form out of town , that's where we take them. I highly recommend this Napoli's in ALLEN . Order Chicken Picata, its delicious with lots of chicken on the plate. I can never finish it. They are not stingy with their food, and they always customize the dish for your...
Read moreWe came here on a whim and we had never been here before but I had remembered that this place was next to a Walmart that I went in so I saved it. The menu Isn't all right price for the portions. However, I ordered a stromboli and I started eating it and noticed that it was sort of. Gooey. I opened up the inside and half of it was still raw. I sort of saw that coming because it felt cold on the inside yet It was burnt on the outside. They returned the item and gave me a plate of spaghetti instead. My boyfriend liked his pizza, however and ate most of it. They were nice enough to have crayons and paper for my son. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Ambiance was nice and the lighting was really good. It felt pretty homie inside. I think if the Stromboli wasn't Raw I would have liked it. They didn't charge me for it though So that's good. I did like the breadstick however, they had a nice garlicky taste. We may come back depending on if we're feeling like...
Read moreI’ve eaten Italian food all over the world including in super expensive famous places and yes Italy too. And I also like to make my own homemade marinara and pasta. So I’m no expert but I do think I know good Italian food when I taste it and Napoli’s is up there with the best.
This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants. The NY Spectacular pizza is amazing. My youngest could live off the Stromboli. The marinara and pasta are divine. I try to make my homemade marinara taste like Napoli’s. I almost got it figured out; hint, fresh herbs. The house salad dressing is to die for but wish they’d use more real greens rather than iceberg with the house salad. Pro tip: get the Greek salad with house dressing.
This feels like an Italian bistro in NY or Italy except in Texas we have strip malls. Don’t let that fool you. This place is better than most bistros I’ve been. Super nice wait staff and the owner always comes around to talk. Highly...
