Subway — Restaurant in Allendale

To start, if I could give this place zero stars I would. The customer service is non-existent. The man here is rude and not understanding at all. The app glitched and my sandwich was then made wrong, I did not touch the sandwich and took it to him and kindly asked could it be made the way I wanted. I was told a hard no, that it would cut into their cost and that the ingredients to make a new sandwich would not be accounted for. I was out of town visiting with a friend and I had to sit there and be hungry. They then told us to go on the app and do a dispute of the order, which we did. But they then said they had to hear from corporate before they could do anything, which would take 48 hours. They did nothing to help make the situation right. The quality has gone down substantially in the last few months. Burnt cookies, rude employees, always out of bread choices. Broken toaster. When you order a salad you get a protein bowl and get charged for a protein bowl even if you don't want a protein bowl. Worker said I could only get a protein bowl (footlong equivalent). They don't seem to know you can get a salad with one serving of meat (a 6 inch sub in essence). I have been getting a regular salad there for years and now I am forced to get a more expensive protein bowl? When I tried to explain that they just got more rude. The staff tries to give you as little as possible so I recommend skipping this location if you're looking for anything from the Subway portion of the store unless you want sides. TBH, you could probably enjoy their subs if you brought your own meat. You'll often notice staff or...bystanders in the back glaring at customers, but there's usually at least one approachable person.

The Pizza Inn has limited options but orders are ready fast. They use just enough sauce to make pizza instead of cheese bread. The dining area is clean but always pretty hot. That said, I rarely see anyone sitting so at least it feels private. 2 Stars for the Pizza Inn, maybe four if they get rid...
