Olive's Pizza and Sandwiches — Restaurant in Allouez

Pizza and appetizers were very good, but the service was not, specifically from the owner. We came for a painting night. As we walked in, no one gave us directions about where to go or what to do. We just gathered awkwardly in the painting area. Some of us went to the Olive's counter to order. Carrie, the owner, was impatient as we looked at the menu. Instead of welcoming us and asking if we'd been there before, she was bothered by the fact that it was taking us a minute to decide what to order. As we were painting, she came out and asked if we wanted more to drink. My friend asked for water. Fifteen minutes later, Carrie brought the water. I said, "There's your water!" to my friend. Carrie told us we could have come to the counter if we wanted water. I jokingly said we were busy painting. She said, "We're busy too. It's almost like it's a restaurant or something." Just plain rude. If you don't want to bring water, simply tell us and we'll go get it ourselves. At the end of the night, a staff member was ready to take a picture of us, but one of our group was in the bathroom and Carrie passive aggressively told her worker that he needed to do his work and not wait for us. The spinach artichoke dip is addicting. The flat bread pizza is tasty n toasty. The Wisconsin Za w cheeses curds sounds cheesy but is also VERY tasty. The boys in our party that normally want traditional only pizza have placed the Wisconsin pizza at Olives at top of their must eat list! Eat at olives cute cozy restaurant you won't be sorry!

12-17-23 SOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED This is what 50$ bought us tonight.

After an hour wait for delivery I called. I was calling after the pick up time. My bad. I had accidentally clicked on pick up. An employee told me they would remake them. They did not. These are cold. nasty n disgusting. These obviously sat for over an hour.

When we arrived to pick up pizza an employee was arguing w a different customer about an order. With raised voices on the employees part.

It was an hour before closing time when we picked up....it was apparent that employees were just trying to get er done so they could close. Late customers were an inconvenience.

Had an errand to run in GB, which ended up taking us into supper time. I wanted pizza & being from the Appleton area, I decided to search for pizza places as I wanted to try something different. It was also 7 pm, and some of the other places were closing in 1 hour, and we didn't want to be rushed. Olive's was open until 9, and based upon other Google reviews, we decided to give it a try. Totally unexpected location, but we're glad we chose it. Ordered mozzarella sticks, which were very good and came out quick. We ordered the deluxe thin crust pizza (my husband is boring and doesn't like to try different things, so basic combo pizza it was lol) it was a great choice though. Crust was baked perfectly, and the right amount of toppings, no skimping! Very friendly upon entering and excellent service! Good wine selection as well. Will definitely go again when in Green Bay and...
