Zesty's Frozen Custard & Grill — Restaurant in Allouez

We go here quite a bit and normally have a good experience even if there's a minor mixup or things missing. Today was not the case. It's mother's day and we celebrated out yesterday, so decided to keep it small and local today. Alot of places were closed and Zestys has options all of us like, so we decided to order from here after seeing they were open on Facebook. Their post also said a free scoop for all moms with your order, which was nice. We ordered online and headed out shortly after to pick up our order. When getting our order, we let them know our 2 adult fountain drinks were missing. My wife also asked about the free mother's day scoop. She was told she already placed her order and didn't include it in her order. My wife said there was no option to add a free scoop. She was then told it's because she used a third party app to order(which is the only way to order online through them). She was told if she wants a scoop, she can place another order and ask for her free scoop. Really? I then told my wife just order a scoop and we'llpay for it, but she was disappointed by it all and just wanted to leave. We went to get our fountain drinks before leaving. The kids wanted pink lemonade, but it was out and just dispensing water which of course was a let down for the kids. The Pepsi which my wife and I were going to get had a note that it was out of order. We got root beer instead and headed out. Upon arriving home we discovered the root beer was flat and the fries were old and cold. It was unfortunately just a very disappointing experience. A couple of these things happening in a single visit which can occur anywhere can be overlooked. Things and mistakes happen. I went there the other day for my birthday and didn’t have the best experience, my boyfriend was really excited to show me Zesty’s too. First I got a drink with my combo meal and the ice dispensed with a gross chunk of something that I don’t even know what it was. My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich which he said wasn’t the best and he didn’t like it and he is a chicken sandwich fanatic, there was just something about it that he didn’t like. Next, I read online that for your birthday you can show ID and you get a free single serving of custard. I did that and had to go through 3 employees and the third one said I had to show them a text from them talking about it. I didn’t have a text and later I even searched it up and for the life of me I couldn’t find a texting list or app or anything. They just didn’t want to give out free ice cream. Lastly, I ordered a Mud Pie sundae and it is supposed to come with chocolate custard and they gave me vanilla. They didn’t say they were out of chocolate or ask my flavor preferences. Honestly, I always loved zestys! We came into town for the 4th while visiting family we decided to stop for some good ol custard. We had a few first timers who were excited! Our issue wasn’t the quality of the food it was the overall service. The (I’m assuming manager) was extremely aggressive with us. After we place our order and informed the cashier that we would be waiting outside because we had a large group he informed us that someone would come out and let us know our order was ready… instead of doing that the “manager” decided to bring the treats and everything else we order she decided to make a comment and said “I called several time for you guys and now I had to come all the way out here to give you your stuff. We aren’t paid enough to deliver you your food” we were honestly thrown back by the comment and decided to just toss everything we ordered and go somewhere else. It was disappointing to be talked to like that especially after a large number of our party praising zestys for being amazing in every way possible (or so we thought).
