Lake Ann Corner Cone — Restaurant in Almira Township

This year our family of 6 found ourselves vacationing in Northern Michigan on Lake Ann and this little gem was not a far walk from out place on Maple. Service was friendly, fast and my husband noticed a sign noting the quality and certain %s of their soft serve (both me, my husband and our 4 children are super nerds and LOVE information like this. We constantly look for information in enhancing all kinds of experiences for our kids and it was super appreciated).

The ice cream was soft and creamy, and not too sweet. The various toppings boggled the mind, especially for as small as it is. Both our toddlers where very happy with their candy face and Unicorn face :) They were super adorable and tasty.

I just had a waffle cone and a vanilla/chocolate swirl and it was perfect. Their soft serve is amazing. Like velvet in your mouth and again so pleased it wasn’t overly sweet. The favor of each ice cream was also pretty amazing, you can tell they use high quality ingredients, no noted “fake” flavor to be had here.

It was also like $20 for all of us to have ice cream! Not only awesome, but not super expensive! As a family of 6 that is also appreciated.

Add that all together with the added nostalgia of a small town and window side service and I couldn’t recommend it more!

One of my favorite ice cream shop in the area. Right next to a brewery. Tell the kids to be good and they can have some ice cream. Something bribery is the best way to enjoy a night with the wife.

Not only do they sell ice cream they also have deep fried treats. They do have a big selection and they make it quick. They have punch cards too. If your visiting and probably never come back to the corner cone then ask if anyone has one so they can get your punches on their punch cards.

It’s in a cute location and the ice cream is good if you aren’t from around here. Prices for what you get though, id say are a little of a rip-off. I’ve only ordered here once but I’ve had interactions with the employees while I’m down at lake Ann. The interactions I get are dirty looks, stares, and looks of confusion when I’m simply just walking around town or in my car. It’s extremely unprofessional and just strange. It’s also very clear to me that they’re trying to hold a reputation that’s not there. Will be...
