Robot Coffee — Restaurant in Altadena

This place just opened and it's already my favorite breakfast/lunch spot. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which came with the eggs cooked exactly how I wanted, perfectly toasted thick slices of sourdough, and bacon. Sooo good.

I also tried the grilled veggie sandwich that my friend ordered. The veggies were cooked just right -- I know this is particularly hard to do with eggplant since it's easy to over or undercook and in this case it was done perfectly. Perfect amount of cheese too.

The sides were much more complete than I'm used to from other restaurants. The fresh fruit side came with a slice of pineapple, melon, strawberries, blueberries, and oranges. Great...

Fluffy omelets (popular and create your own,) huge salads, nice chonky hash browns and excellent coffee. Pastries, fresh fruit and a to-go fridge stocked with fresh chia pudding, parfaits, smoothie bowls and bottled drinks.

On display is just a peek of a greater collection of amazing retro robot memorabilia from the boss (who is often there, ask for Justin and say hi.)

A friend told us about robot coffee so we decided to have breakfast there and couldn't have had a better experience. Our coffee was by far the best I've had in the area and the service was great. Loved the retro vibe in the shop... you could tell great care went into the planning and decor. The food was excellent as was the presentation.
