Taste Of Italy — Restaurant in Altavista

We have been here a few times, and while the food is generally good, the service leaves much to be desired. On my latest trip, we ordered the Bacon Chicken Ranch pizza, because I was feeling a bit unwell. The menu said, "Chicken and Bacon topping, with a side of ranch."

Well...the ranch never came, until we asked for it. When we asked for it, the waitress insisted it was on the pizza (it was not; cheese, bacon, chicken, and crust were the only ingredients). We pointed out on the menu where it showed it, but she just walked off and finally brought back a single cup that you might put onto a salad; it was assuredly not enough for the whole pizza.

Another issue was the bill at the end; we got one water, one soda; we were charged $4.00 for the drinks alone. Perhaps it is me, but if water costs the same as soda, perhaps let us know first, yes? While I think it was a mistake, it was two mistakes from a waitress with an attitude, and one that I was not up to dealing with at the time.

I may come back, but there are other options that are the same (or better) quality, with friendlier service, that are only an extra 20-30 minutes away from where we live. And they do not have waitstaff that have attitudes when pointing out they forgot to provide part...

Our first visit was good, but tonight was mediocre at best. We were greeted and pointed towards the dining area to have a seat. Everything was fine at first. My guest and I took a while deciding, but our food came out quickly once we ordered a pizza. The chicken bacon ranch pizza, according to the menu, is supposed to come with a side of ranch. The waitress brought the pizza and no ranch, but left too quickly for me to ask about it. Normally I wouldn't care, but the pizza had no sauce and was really dry without ranch. I asked the waitress for ranch the next time she came by, and she tried to argue that it didn't come with a side of ranch. I told her it was listed on the menu. No big deal, but she just gestures for me to wait and walked away. She came back a couple minutes later with a sour face and gave me the ranch and walked away. After we paid, I realized they charged for two sodas when I got a water. So I got argued with and charged for a water. It wasn't worth it to go back in and ask for my two...

We were there last night and it wasn't bad only myself and my husband plus another table being used on one side. I think we were forgotten because we sat there until the whole side was full and people they ate and was leaving , I ordered a burger no big deal , another burger went to others on our side that came in way after we did. The girl told us the burgers took longer to cook lol. How did the others get theirs faster. By the time we got our meal the others that came in way after us had ate and leaving or left. Then she said she was going to give us a discount because of the wait, but nope no discount even after all that. The food was great but that was really A LONG WAIT FOR A FISH SANDWHICH AND BURGER. I even went up there to tell her we were just going to leave but I met her coming out with our plates. It was really embarrassing just setting that long because they had people standing in line waiting...
