I have heard great things about this new restaurant so wanted to try it. The interior looks great and there was a decent crowd eating on a Tuesday afternoon. I got my order to go. The grilled chicken menu looked amazing so I tried the Pollo Cancun. When I got it home I couldn't have been more disappointed. A thin and extremely dry split chicken breast with a bunch of mushrooms that were barely cooked, and both were coated in seasoning. It looked like it was sprinkled on right before serving. It definitely felt like it needed a sauce of some kind. I also tried the Camaron salad. The shrimp was fine, but the avocado was absolutely awful. They chose hard, unripe avocado and didn't peel them right so I kept biting into the skin. The only good thing was the chicken quesadilla, which is a pretty low bar. I will try again sometime in the future but it's going to be a while. This was not a good first experience. Had I eaten it there I would have sent both entrees back and asked for something else.

Who would have thought a Mexican restaurant inside of a hotel would be any good? Not me. The food was very good and the service was amazing. Everything arrived quickly, and hot, which was impressive for a Saturday night around 6. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Don't be scared to eat Mexican from a hotel, trust me on this one.

After reading these reviews I’m not sure how we ate at the same restaurant? I started having doubts immediately when I saw them clearing tables and most plates still had a lot of food on them that hadn’t been touched. But we trudged on.My chimichanga was supposed to be deep fried. It was soft and soggy with no attempt of being fried. The chicken inside had been cooked to death with absolutely no seasoning and so dry you couldn’t chew it. White cheese poured over it. Period. No sour cream, no guacamole, nothing. Move on to the “hard” taco. Soggy cold shell with hamburger that was browned. I do mean that’s it. Hamburger was gray with no seasoning at all. They threw lettuce and white cheese on it and served it with a smile. One bite and it was awful. Son’s steak quesadilla was so overcooked the steak pieces resembled rocks. Once again no flavor and nothing on it. Wife’s quesadilla locos was the same story. They call it quesadillas but they were actually just a soft taco shell wrapped around again the same unseasoned gray hamburger and a pinch of cheese in the center not melted as a “quesadilla” should be. One bite once again and spit out. Finally daughter got a kids cheeseburger. Yes I know I know it’s a Mexican restaurant cheeseburger. But seriously, how do you screw up a kids cheeseburger? Fear not, they did. It was hard as a hockey puck and burnt black. Again one bite, spit out. What did this dining experience cost? $81.00. We are not hard people to satisfy and we are not “Karen’s”. This is the first review I’ve ever done on a restaurant. But it was so bad I felt it was warranted. Second worse Mexican we’ve ever had. First place goes to the Mexican restaurant on Godfrey road across from reagle beagle. At least the chips and salsa were good here. Sorry to be a downer but this is an honest...

Went with a group of friends to have dinner outside on the patio. It stunk of sewage every time the wind blew, so it wasn't great to begin with. We had put in an order of Buffalo wings as an appetizer, and a couple of others ordered queso. They received their dips, but we never received the wings, despite us confirming twice that they had indeed been put in. We are not sure if the waiter understood us, because there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication as a whole. The meal I had was okay, nothing to write home about. Drink refills were non-existent. Unfortunately, two members of our group had inedible dishes due to the sheer amount of whole dried peppers in their meals. They ordered different dishes, and neither description had peppers listed. One had easily twenty peppers in his dish, and another at least ten if not more. We will not...
