Milk Store — Local services in Alton

Not only do they have chips, drinks, Alcohol, Tobacco, Lotto, they also carry other things behind the glass that could be beneficial to some people tobacco pipe, digital scales, Etc. So those of you that do eBay businesses could run over there to pick a cheap digital scale to help you weigh out your letters and small packages to and print your own labels, and postage & stamps out at your house, that way you can skip the trip to the post office, and just leave it out front for them to pick it up and mail it for you....

They wouldn’t accept dimes for a $2.50 purchase. I went in to buy a fountain soda and a pack of mini cigars, was told they will not accept unrolled change, when the day before they DID!!! They let me pay for the soda with them, which was already dispensed, but not the cigars. I’ve been a GOOD CUSTOMER for 60+ years but this double standard is unacceptable AND ILLEGAL!!! I will spend my dimes elsewhere and encourage everyone else to do...

This is my go to convenient store. They're friendly and helpful. This is their second location that I go to every day. If there's a favorite product that I frequently buy, they make sure to keep it on hand...
