Casey's — Restaurant in Altoona

This Casey's store, as well as any other in the metro area, is awful. We ordered a simple cheese pizza, and my daughter was told they didn't have the order. My daughter called me and I was told oh, sorry, that pizza is in the oven. The pizza was overdone, hard as a rock and had little sauce. My other daughter returned to complain about the pizza and was given a major attitude about the overbaked pizza by Paige. Paige said to the other employee should we just give her another customer's pizza so she'll shut and leave? We were given another pizza, that had sausage on it, when we wanted a simple cheese pizza. Called to order pizza on New Years Eve around 8:45pm the guy I talked to from the kitchen wasn’t very nice on the phone hung up on me. Got sent an email saying it would be done at 920. I go in about that time and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes. The girl was waiting on the guy in the kitchen to get off work because I guess they rode together. They were both taking there sweet time making my pizza. The girl said the guy has taken lots of breaks even when there were 5 customers waiting…. Not sure why that is happening. But the lady then goes back to her register and I walk out with my pizza and say “have a good night” she stares at me and doesn’t say anything. How rude! Won’t be ordering pizza...

Unless you want E-15 or overpriced regular gas, check before stopping here. Only 87 octane is available. See photo. It felt like a bait and switch.

I sat through several turn signals to get into this gas station- I do prefer Casey’s after all— but noticed that the traffic light to turn is only 3 seconds long. Then you can’t turn left into Casey’s- have to go past to a sort of switch back to get into this station.

This whole exit is ridiculous— difficult to get in and out of anything here. Brand new and so poorly planned. A new entrance would help their business...
