Swiss Club of Altoona — Restaurant in Altoona

I made a special trip to try the wings at the Swiss Club. And, from what I understand, the chef is an experienced expert. So it was no surprise to me that these wings were some of the best I have eaten.

The wing texture immediately stood out as a hallmark of a true wing professional. Now I won’t get into the details here, but the guy uses a 2 step process in preparing his wings. This method makes a major difference between these wings in comparison to someone who just dumps them into hot oil.

What a nice day at the Swiss Club on Sunday. A bunch of friends and cocktails to enjoy the day. Great venue outside under the pavilion to have a party. The bar is open outside and we were greeted with some warm and friendly tenders. Thanks to everyone who made the Pork Chop dinners.
