Trianon Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Altoona

Well this used to be the place to go for me. Great people, everyone knew your name and drink order, and it was always a fun time. As of about a year ago was when things started going downhill. There seems to be new bartenders and waitresses every couple months and service has gone way downhill. I continued to go just because I loved the music trivia and wings, but that's not even enough to really keep me going there now. One of the wonderful new bartenders decided to cut me off after 5 beers and 2 shots saying I "stumbled" to the bathroom (I'd been moving all day and walking up and down 2 flights of steps). What's worse is that she tried to say the manager told her to do it, but I was talking to the manager 10 minutes prior and she could tell I was fine, and she wasn't even working. Oh well, it's a shame to have to stop going there, but...

Ordered doordash from this place. My husband ordered a crabcake sandwich that was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, onion, and remoulade but arrived plain and overcooked. I ordered a fried fish basket that came way overcooked and only had exactly 19 fries. The fried mushrooms were the only item we got that we didnt have an issue with. My husband, who has been running restaurants for 10 years, called to complain (which is something we NEVER do). The OWNER of this establishment was yelling in the background, calling him a liar. It was the most unprofessional and outrageous experience we have ever had with a restaurant. We spent $28 and had to place another order with another restaurant because our meals were inedible. First impressions are lasting. I called first, spoke with Sierra. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service. Enticing me even more in patronizing the bar. When there, from start to finish, I enjoyed the Trianon. My 21 years in Altoona, why did I wait so long. I highly recommend it. Being a lover of hot wings, yesterday I tried Ron's hot. Excellent! Just the right amount of heat that wasn't wasn't overbearing. Accented by the celery sticks and blue cheese. Best I ever had....
