Clearcreek Cakes & Bakes — Restaurant in Amanda Township

I was recommended Clearcreek Cakes & Bakes by a friend for my wedding cake. I messaged them in December of last year with my info and they said they were available for my date. In January, they gave me a date to pick up cupcakes to do at home tasting, and I drove 30 minutes to get the cupcakes. When I got there, they didn’t have my name on the list of brides picking up that day, so I stood and waited for a while for them to throw together a box of cupcakes. No big deal to me, I understand things happen and people forget things, plus they made it right by not charging me the $17.50 for the cupcakes. They told me they would message me in a couple days to set up a time to go over details. I didn’t hear from them so thought maybe they were waiting for me to message them, so I did so on a Sunday evening. They read the message but didn’t respond, so I thought maybe they will respond during business hours, totally understandable. They ended up taking an entire 9 days to respond to me about making an appointment. At this point, I had already contacted a different bakery for my cake. I was lucky enough to come in the day after national apple pie day. I bought 1 of the 2 remaining apple pies. Best apple pie I’ve ever had. The fact I didn’t buy both pies will haunt me for the rest of my days! If you stop in make sure you pick up a oatmeal cream pie you won’t regret it.

The best bakery HANDS DOWN! I called so many places for a last minute request immediately when I called them she told me they can make it happen. I went in to the cute bakery to pay thinking I'll come back in a couple hours to pick it up but no she told me to wait right there and went straight to the back to fulfill my request.
