Under New Owners, they changed the menu! This place is just basic. nothing special anymore, I asked if they still had Blvd wings and Siagon Wings. they said yes. No just No! What we got was NOT Blvd Wings or Siagon Wings! Idk why they changed the menu!!! But what set this place apart was the Menu! It was Different and So So Good Now it's just your basic run of the mill Vietnamese food that you can find all over Amarillo. Unfortunately We Will NOT be back! It's no longer worth the drive across town! Because we used to crave their food! A lil advice drop your current menu and bring back the old one!!! and maybe this place will be successful. I don't see this place lasting too long with this menu. sorry.
My Old Review When Cafe Blvd first opened 👇 This place is bomb! Had the Bun Bowl Works and my husband had the Siagon Wings. We also had the egg rolls, we took our boys home Grilled Pork the Works and Combo Fried Rice and hubby took Beef Jerky w/sticky rice for lunch the next dTay! Needless to say everything was excellent!! the place is nice and clean, music just a real chill place to have a good meal. Highly Recommend checking this place out you wont be...
Read moreTried this place twice to give it a chance. First time was ok. Ordered the Com Suon Dac Biet: Pork Chop Plate w/ the Works because it looked great in the pics online. The portions were small and the pork chop itself was a tiny sliver. Also it took an hour to get a bowl of seafood soup which didnt have much seafood, mostly all broth. Went in the the second time and ordered pho and eggrolls, they came back said they are out of eggrolls, and pho it was also mostly broth and what looked like noodles from a chicken noodle can. I just expected more from all I heard about considering there was better quality food across the street. Everyone was very kind and the place was ver clean and felt like a nice "hangout" place. Probably not...
Read moreBest pho in the USA. I eat pho on average 4x a week. I travel so pho is a healthy hearty meal for me. I have had pho from Los Angeles to NY to Boston nearly all lower 48 states. I imagine the pho at this location is similar to going to Vietnam and being invited over by a family for dinner in which pho is being served and that it was cooked by the grandma using an old family recipe. And the recipe was passed on and that’s what I am eating rn at this very location. They have oxtail pho and the usual. It’s traditional pho meaning not 50 million different pho choices like you see sometimes. But it is certainly homemade and top knotch. The best pho...
