La Choza Taqueria Y Tortilleria — Restaurant in Amarillo

This place is so unorganized. Be prepared to wait a long time for service, food will take forever weather you're eating in or order to go, and they're always out stuff. They had me waiting 30 mins for a to go order that I ordered the day before, and was supposed to pick up at a certain time, I showed up a little late to pick up the food, I paid and the lady told me I'll be right back with your food, 30 mins went by and I asked where's my food, and she said, oh it's not ready yet, it'll be a while bc we're so busy. Like wth they should've told me that when I got there. There was only 5 tables in the restaurant and they all had their food. There was like 15 people working in the kitchen running around like chickens with the heads cut off, there was literally more employees than customers and they still could not get...

This place is a one person staffed place and takes FOREVER to get your food, or refills, or your ticket to go. DO NOT COME HERE ON YOUR LUNCH! That being said, the BBQ ribs would've been amazing had they not slathered it in BBQ sauce. The hot sauce and rice and beans were extremely good tho and so were the homemade chips for the appetizer (good luck getting a refill on hot sauce too). The service is super slow it took them a while for them to even notice us then after that we waited about 15 mins for them just to take our drink order, we wanted to make it easy on the waiter and place out entire order but they didnt even give us menues untill they finally got our drink order. After 30 mins of waiting for our food, they got our order wrong even after all the waiting. As for the food, it wasnt the best thats all i can really say. Better off going somewhere else next time...
