Toom's Restaurant Waffle and Boba Tea — Restaurant in Amarillo

I ordered takeout kids beef broccoli with fried rice and a large beef fried rice plate. I honestly do not understand how this place stays in business or even has decent reviews, if you can't make decent fried rice how are you even running an Asian restaurant? The rice was inedible mush that tasted like it was made days ago, literally NO FLAVOR!! Not to mention all the meat was sickly grey colored, dry and tough. I'm so sick of spending money on places that can't deliver even just edible food. I can't fathom how you can make rice so bad?? Definitely not worth the 20$ I spent, if you have to add anything to fried rice to make it edible, it's garbage fried rice! I would avoid this place like the plague when there are so many CONSISTENT places to get good fried rice like...

I typically get takeout here, and occasionally will dine in during lunch. Plates are consistent in size and flavor, and prices are hard to beat. I like the kra pao, larb, wings, beef jerky, and sticky rice. Their tomato sauce that comes with wings/jerky and sticky rice is top notch. I also tried the taiyaki on my most recent visit. I made that post 2 years ago But now idk what happened. This is the second time I got food the past month and it as not been good . The first time the put so much soy sauce that the rice was almost black. could not even eat it , and when I went back and told them they just said sorry This time not good at all. Rice half cook .
