Stopped on a whim. They were pretty busy. The waitresses first day on the job. She did a fantastic job. She was literally running to try to be efficient. Terry had a chef salad and a bltc.. it's a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with cucumber. He said it was very good. The chef salad looked mighty tasty. I had a calzone. I like mine with just cheese topped with Parmesan cheese and either garlic salt or just regular salt. And a cup of pizza sauce to dip it in. It was very good. We also had a few cocktails. Only giving a decent 2 stars for the good food WHEN I ACTUALLY RECEIVE IT. Originally came in for Friday fish dinner(as it’s a lakeside restaurant) only to find they do Not serve fish at at…. No worries we changed our order to something they have on the menu…ONLY to have Sat here for 30 minutes before I received my mixed drink which she so snidely said “I can try to make” then never tried, passed off table off to another server who apologized and got me a beverage. Originally Ordered two meals and waited for 45 minutes to never receive my Rueben and fries, or our loaded nachos. Here's the deal with this place. I feel like if I give it a shot on another day, the service will probably be better. I waited almost an hour for an order that was supposed to be ready in about 25 minutes. And the food was just okay. The fries were undercooked. That said I'd be willing to give it another shot because I didn't dislike the food or the atmosphere. Who knows? Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. It was 4th of July...
