So I went through the drive thru to get lunch since I forgot to pack my own that day. I got 2 greek gyros, and a buffalo chicken sandwich meal. The gyros were great, but the buffalo chicken sandwich was disgusting. Completely smothered with Frank's red hot buffalo sauce, normally not a big deal but when you're trying to drive back to work and eat on the way it was no small feat. The cashier ran my card, was charged and posted to my account. The cashier decided to try and run my card 6 more times because she did not see that the system had processed it, she tried to tell me that my card was not good. I showed her that my bank had processed the transaction but proceeded to tell me to give her a different card or cash because she could not get the original to process. I informed her that I would get cash out of the atm at the gas station to lay for the transaction a second time. Was issued a receipt for the cash transaction, along with a receipt that was in the bag for the card transaction. Spoke with the manager inside about not seeing a reason to pay for my meal twice because the cashier did not pay attention when she totaled out my order. The manager told me to come back the next day to be issued a refund for the cash purchase. Went back the following day to once again show that I was charged for the same meal twice, told me that I must've been mistaken because the receipt I was given said that it was paid for in cash not on a card. I showed her the card receipt and politely asked for my money back since I had 2 receipts but was given only one order. She said that they do not issue refunds to customers and told me to make sure I have cash with me next time since my financial institution was unreliable. I told her that I will never be going to the Ames location again because she was flat out lying about giving me a refund. Overall if I could've gone to anywhere else in the short amount of time I am allowed for lunch I would've, but I can not change the events of the past only correct my course in the future. If you use Stash Capital as a banking system it is great until you go to the Ames Arby's because they are the only Arby's that I've been to that could not operate their automated system without causing my card to be locked out for 24 hrs and still charge me for my order twice. If I could give a negative score I would whole heartedly give them a negative 5 star rating because of the lack of integrity of the manager and intelligence of the attendants at the register. I've worked in fast paced kitchens with a much higher overhead and quality of standards than 90% of fast food restaurants like this place and it was the worst experience I've had with the company and hope to never set foot on one of their properties ever...

I couldn’t believe my eyes and stomach when I saw it.. on the poster “THE HAM IS BACK” then my eyes flashed down a little and there it was.. “CHICKEN CORDON BLUE” at last! It was back! I couldn’t believe it I felt like someone meeting their husband who was out at sea for years… we go inside.. we order.. we wait patiently and then there it was! The beautiful sandwich on my table steaming hot and the delicious sweet smell it had from all the years ago.. except yet this time it had a different bun.. a butter bun..? Ah yes! A butter bun which enhanced the flavor profile of this dish! I couldn’t remember if it was there all those years ago.. but it was beautiful. The cheese had a great cheese pull, the chicken and ham steaming and filled with flavor only a few could understand.. the bun warm and soft.. all these combined makes the best sandwich.. I quickly devoured it within 5-10 minutes and a few sips of my soda of course I’m not a monster. I sat there satisfied with my meal waiting for my table mates to finish their meal. I left after our meal feeling happy...

Then to top it off they messed up our entire order, and we had to go back and have them fix it only to give us wraps with huge amounts of dressing oozing out of them and wilted lettuce they heated in the microwave. If I could give this zero stars I would. They gave us 2 free meal coupons that were expired too. This location used to rate the best in the state. I seriously doubt this is the case now. Also, same staff that was rude in the drive thru for pointing out he was trying to give me the wrong drink, also got caught making faces at my daughter behind the manager's back and got caught when she pointed it out.
