Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Ames

Pulled up to the drive thru at 9:40 there website says they close at 10 I was just hoping for a healthier choice then Arbys or gas station food when I sat there for five-10 minutes and watched 3 employees dink around and see me sitting in the drive thru after waiting a bit I call and they tell me they closed early because they were short staff well maybe some advice when you are answering a call don’t be dancing around and laughing at a costumer over the phone ( yes I could see you) and that honestly wasnt right when I explaining all I wanted was just one thing they told me they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have the staff for it? Luckily Arby’s across the road was still open when I got over and served me and was way kinder...

Whenever i want an expensive sandwich made by someone who expects a big tip i always think of Jimmy John's. They are the Starbucks of overpriced fast food.

If you like JJ's, you'll like this place just fine. It is precisely like all the other ones you've ever been to.

Drive through is fast and efficient and spendy. No reason to hang around because there is no atmosphere. Nothing you haven't seen 100 times before. Stuff your face and beat it. $10 cold sandwich. No drink. 20% suggested tip. If you're really hungry, they have a $20+ option. Thanks come again.

This has gone downhill. I ordered a little john with cheese. I got charged .75 for one small piece if cheese torn in half. I was fold thats because I got a little john. Never had that happen before.

Why do I have to pay the same amount for cheese on a small sandwich as I would in a regular sandwich but not get the samw amount?

Was also told I had a credit there quite some time ago and have tried to use it and am told they cannot find it. Typical. They have quick delivery, although their prices are quite a bit higher with delivery and the driver does not make...
