11/ 18/18 - Stopped in for dinner and the Special was Beef Stroganoff, it came with my choice of soup or salad and Garlic Toast.

It was so good...

A few days before the Special was 3 peices of Fried Chicken choice of potatoes soup or salad Garlic Toast or Biscuit. Yummy...this place is a must.

/15/18 - What another Amazing evening at this bar.

Great vibes all around...check out the videos posted for this evenings Karaoke singers, oh my goodness talented.

Beyond the singing the friendship and gathering of family and friends makes a trip to this bar worth the while.

Not all days us this bar full at nights but Thursday night Karaoke night seems to bring in the twins people.

The music starts people, laugh, sing and dance, joy fills the room and for a few hours the weight of the world is gone, no more sorrow just good old fashion fun.

If you tie one too many over Merts Taxi is only a phone call away.

2/12/18 - The people, food & environment is very inviting, it's hard to stay away...

There is no harm in having a local watering hole.

The outside eating areas for both the bar and restaurant make it nice also to enjoy on the beautiful days we get here in Anacortes the restaurant has a view of Mount Baker.

They have jukebox in the bar that you can connect to your phone so you can play your favorites while enjoying a drink and or food.

Restaurant food can be served in the Bar or Restaurant till 9 PM.

The bar serves limited fried food after...

So I had seen a friend's post about how good this place was, so I decided to try it ... well, it was ok. I had the cfs, and im sure it was just a frozen patty deep-fried, but most are . The gravey was just ok, too. The eggs were cooked the way I like, however, so there's that . The hash browns were crispy and not soggy, perfect for my runny eggs. Service was dare I say ok ... lol I think she was there alone and working about 10 tables at once, so I'm not gonna say anything other than I got what needed. Ok, so the price is high, but I get it. I'm old, and this ain't the 90s, and they need to make money, but man, breakfast used to be relatively cheap now, its dinner prices. Walked into an empty restaurant at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday that should have been the first sign. We waited over 45 minutes and had to listen to the waitress talk trash about how vacationers don't know what they ordered if they ordered fresh seafood. While my friend was going to the bathroom she noticed the cook opening the bag of cod and dropping it into the fryer, how is that fresh seafood. The waitress looks me dead in my eye and said you ordered seafood didn't you that's why it's taking so long.
