I would really really love to be able to order online and come in and easily pick up my order, I do like the coffee. I work nearby and it's not always prudent to walk in and place an order at the counter; you never know if you're going to end up waiting 15+ minutes in line while the cashier takes an order then proceeds to make a few sandwiches before taking another order. Their process is not expedited in any way and the inefficiency is blatant. Which brings me to ordering ahead- also not so simple, and it should be! There isn't an obvious or designated pickup area for those who have ordered ahead and I've had to wait around for an employee to notice or respond to me. I think I'll be skipping this location altogether after this last online order- I hovered near the drink pick up window for close to 10 mins after my order was supposedly ready... and I felt like such a nuisance having to ask. My drink finally came out and was a size smaller than what I'd paid for and I couldn't wait to ask them to correct the mistake. If I had all the time in the world (I don't- especially on a 30 min lunch break) maybe I would continue to come here, but my patience has run out. I will say, there was one woman who had taken my order a few times and she was cheerful and attentive amongst the chaos and I hope they improve their behind-the-counter flow for...

I had previously given Moka Joe's a 5 star review but unfortunately I feel the need to change that.

Consistency and quality of drink making has gone way down and prices way up. For context iv gone there nearly five days a week for TWO years and spent way more money than I want to count at Moka Joe's.

In the last several months it seems they can never get my drinks made more or less the same and a few times I have been given the wrong drink entirely. I could maybe over look that, especially since they have had A LOT of staff turn over. What i can't look past is the sharp increase in prices.

A 24oz tea, so two tea bags, hot water, and a couple of pumps of flavor that you can barely taste is EIGHT dollars. You can buy the box of tea bags they use (Numi - 18ct $8) and the flavors (Monin) and save yourself a lot of money and have a better drink.

Two breakfast sandwiches, which were barely larger than the bottom of a 12oz cup were $15.00.

Blended drinks? You will probably spend at least $8+, they don't accept punches for blended drinks anymore and don't honor previous cards for blended drinks. Their shakes? $10+. Save your money, hop across the highway, and go to Lopez Island creamery.

Their prices on the menu never ring up to be your total which is always more, and they don't give...

I have been a big fan of moka Joes sense we moved near by. We would come here multiple times a week for food and coffees. Love the cold brew for the fridge at home. Until today! A week or so ago I went for sandwiches coffee and espresso beans. I pulled over waited for my sandwich they brought it out fairly quickly and then I left. After I was gone I realized I had not received the espresso beans, I just figured no big deal I can grab them the next time I went bye .I went by today ordered 4 cold brews for the fridge at home and told her about the espresso beans she asked who I had that day and I said itโ€™s been a week or two ago I donโ€™t remember exactly who I had that day and I havenโ€™t had time to come before today, she said well I can give you espresso beans this time but I wonโ€™t do this again unless you can tell me who helped you. Well I said no never mind just keep them ,she said are you sure, I said yes I wouldโ€™ve never said that I didnโ€™t receive them if it didnโ€™t actually happen. so no you just keep them and drove away, but I wonโ€™t be going back. I guess unfortunately Iโ€™ll have to find...

Disappointing hospitality during a much-needed stop My husband and I were on a motorcycle trip from North Vancouver to Fidalgo Island, and we were excited to find Moka Joe Coffee House as a cozy-looking spot to rest and recharge. Before ordering, we simply asked to use the restroom after a long journey, but were told we could only have the key after placing an order. This felt surprisingly unwelcoming especially in such a quiet location where one might expect a bit more hospitality. As world travelers who have been on the road for over 60,000 km, this is not something weโ€™ve encountered even in busier, high-traffic areas. We left disappointed, as this policy and the way it was communicated felt disrespectful. I hope the management considers a more flexible, friendly approach toward travelers and visitors in the future.

This place will make you forget Dunkin doughnuts or Starbucks even exist. They have such a variety of coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Overtaken upon entry by what I would describe as the smell of the world's coffees culminating into a complex and invigorating aroma. Almost feeling like a kid walking into an amusement park this will most certainly satisfy the coffee nut inside of anyone.

After seeing their sign off highway 20 multiple times, I stopped by the other day to check it out. Weekday morning rush, but ordering went smooth and was efficient. Friendly service and my iced latte was good. They have also have breakfast/lunch sandwiches, and baked goods. Spacious sitting area with a fire place. They also have grounds and beans for purchase.
