Lubben Vineyards & Wines LLC — Restaurant in Anamosa

My wife, daughter and I visited the new Lubben Vineyard and Wines Anamosa facility on two occasions, Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22 (we enjoyed our visit so much we had to return the next day for the music).

We sampled their wine by ordering wine flights - we had the Sweet Flight and the White Flight. All the wines sampled were fantastic! We also shared bottles of St. Pepin and Timeless wine, which were our favorites from the flights.

However, we didn't limit our stay to just wine. We had some of their food - roasted Brussel Sprouts, Chicken and Avocado Flatbread and Burata Flatbread. All of the food was great!

And the owners and staff... Very, very friendly and helpful!! We were greeted as we entered with smiles and were told to order at the bar and have a seat anywhere. We placed our orders and the food arrived quickly. Subsequent orders were taken by their staff at the table, which as nice! Special orders, alterations to the food were no problem (my wife needed lactose-free cheese and gluten-free crust).

The Facility... Beautiful! The view is very nice now and will only get better once landscaping is finished! All-in-all a most...

My husband Santiago and I visited LUBBENS Vineyard and Wines, and we were SO impressed with not only the beautiful peaceful atmosphere, but the quality of the food and wine and the friendliness of the staff was outstanding! A MUST STOP if you are North of Cedar Rapids on 151. The ambiance and setting are beautiful. Great staff. Had Panini and Chicken Bacon Wrap. Both were awesome but Panini was tops. They even had lovely complimentary flavored water with lemon and mint. Indoor and outdoor seating. We don't drink but obviously a wonderful wine stop. Menu was excellent with lots of options. Great girls getaway stop for sure....
