10/1923 Had my birthday breakfast at Kenny's! Amazing choice. I ordered their steak and eggs, when Tara our awesome server informed me they were out of the NY steaks and she would have to give a gigantic ribeye! Ohhh darn! What a shame, I just had to have the most delicious breakfast in years. I had to go back to the kitchen and tell the crew just what a fantastic job the did!
And as far as service, Tara is a jewel! That young lady knows how to make customers feel special! Kennys is always a treat!
Kennys Kitchen is now at the old auction yard.
Best breakfast and service around! After reading so many good reviews on Kenny's Kitchen, my wife and I had to try them for breakfast. All I can say is absolutely delicious! I thought I was back in my Granny's kitchen.
We sat at the counter as they were packed. We had an amazing, host and server, who by the way turned out to be Nicole, Kenny's wife! She made us feel so welcome and put up with me changing my order 3 times and even helped me customize my order to fulfill my cravings! She is such a sweetheart!!
One thing I noticed that stood out to us. Even though we were under Nicole's watch, the entire team chipped in to fill our coffees, remove our plates and see to anything we needed. These are wonderful folks and the team they have built is so heartwarming to watch.
On top of that, even though they were filled to capacity, the food was was perfect, and the wait was minimal! Biscuits and gravy, eggs, pancakes, and chicken fried steak couldn't have been better! I can't wait to try lunch there. Thank you Nicole and Kenny! Thank you staff! You all are awesome and we look forward to our next meal with ya'll!
1-21-2023 Another amazing meal at Kenny's! This time Rhonda took fantastic care of us and made us feel so at home.
I changed up my order this time and got the Porky Pig Platter! Ham, sausage, bacon, 3 eggs, hash brown potatoes with a side of biscuits and gravy. Biscuits and gravy are awesome at home reheated too if you can't eat it all.
Service is the best and the Farmers Coffee...
Read moreHad not eaten here since before it was Kenny's, but, my sister & her husband eat here often and offered to buy me lunch. The menu is easy to understand with items clearly stating what comes on each dish. We were a party of 6 and the ordering was very smooth. Our waitress placed our orders exactly as we requested and the food was prepared fresh and quicker than expected. Everyone in our party was very happy with their meals and drinks. I tried the BBQ tri tip sandwich and it was so full of flavor and plenty big enough as I was able to only eat half of it and got to save the other half for later. Sure it is located at the auction yard, but, this is Cottonwood, a little dirt/dust town, split down the middle by I-5 between Red Bluff and Redding. It used to be said that if you blink too many times driving between Redding and Red Bluff that you would miss Cottonwood. A question often asked of folks not familiar with our town, that found its way to bumper stickers that sold out quickly was, "Where in the hell is Cottonwood?" Well folks, Cottonwood is where you'll find Kenny's and that's the place to be for a great meal, terrific atmosphere and a tall glass of ice cold...
Read moreI'm 53 years old and Kenny's kitchen made me the best breakfast I've ever had in my life! We almost turned around and left when we saw how packed the parking lot was but decided to go in anyway and we're glad we did. The blonde waitress was like tiny little whirlwind taking excellent care of a full house with grace and ease and the food was divine! I mean the country potatoes were perfectly brown and crisp on every side, picture perfect and delicious. I get country fried steak every time I go out for breakfast and Kenny's was...
