Macias El Michoacano — Restaurant in Cottonwood

Walked in and was not greeted, she did not seat us, we stood there for about 5 min before seating ourselves, meanwhile there is only two other customers that ALREADY HAD THEIR FOOD. A few minutes after we seated ourselves, she brought us 2 menus, even though we had a party of 5. She still had not greeted us, just handed us 2 menus and walked away. She gave us about 2 minutes before coming back for our order, and seemed visibly irritated when I asked for a few more minutes. When she brought us our plates she did not bother to clear the table, or refill our EMPTY drinks, she also messed up one of the orders. When our toddler spilled some water I got up and asked for a towel and she handed me a thin stack of paper towels to clean up and entire cup of water. She did not offer to bring us boxes, she did not bring us our check, or even check up on us to see if the food was okay. After I went up to the counter and asked for my check, she made sure to watch closely as I filled out the tip portion, and shook her head at me as if I didn't give her a large enough tip. Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Food was better than great. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive, exactly what you want on a busy day. You didn't have to wait to look for your server for more water or chips and salsa. They seemed to know already when you wanted something. There were six of us and two people ordered an extra meal each to have for dinner. We all ordered different items and at least half of us had special orders. Everything arrived perfect and accurate and hot. Would definitely recommend this place if you love authentic Mexican food. Delicious food, friendly and professional staff, amazing service, at least for me. They make sure I feel like I am at home!. Great and fresh food. Not only Mexican food but also burgers, beers, margaritas, horchata, jarritos (mexican drinks), and much more. This is not your typicall Los Angeles mexican food, is amazing fresh food but with unique different touch of Mexican Style.
