Nutty Sweet Shop — Restaurant in Anderson

If I could give it 0 I would. All because the manager talked to us like trash. We used to LOVE this place. Been loyal customers for 12 years now. We had a mess up on an order and called to see if we could just drive back to get it fixed and we were told "you got what you ordered. You can come back but you are paying" and this is just one of the rude lines we heard from him. The grilled chicken breast was wrapped up in a napkin, the chicken wings half raw and all we asked for to fix it was slaw for ONE of the 6 plates.... the nastiest attitude I've heard in long time from any manager and I work in customer service. We literally had company from out of town and were trying to show them some "home style" we used to enjoy. And it was absolutely terrible. We ended up trashing 50$+ of food and ordering dominoes pizza. This place USED to be a weekly occurrence and we still know some of the workers from being regulars. But the manager was rude and flat out mean and the food is trash now. I get food mistakes happen! Hence why we were willing to drive and maybe even pay a bit to fix it but the managers attitude was the worst and he ended up...

Two weekend I have tried to call my order in for hamburger steaks for my family. Both weekends I was out in hold l, which is fine, however I drive from Iva to the Nutty Sweet Shop. I was still holding on when I got to there. The phone was still off the hook and they were not that busy. Well, I decided to try it again this weekend. SAME THING HAPPENED. The first time I called, I held the phone doe 5 minutes and 19 seconds. Finally hung up and called back. I ask the boy who answered not to put me on hold. He still put me on hold. I called back a 3 rd time and the girl answered and I ask her not to put me on hold, she was very rude, and proceeded to tell me that she was too busy to take my order. So I simply said, " you have time to argue with me about how busy you are but you can't write down 2 hamburger steaks and 2 hotdogs she told me she did not and hung up the phone on me. I think they need some type of management there on the weekends so that the kids working there are at the very least polite to the customers. Not a great experience. My boyfriend and I went, got Banana Splits. We were patient and didn't mind waiting because it was busy, but the first person to talk to him was SUPER rude and when he tried to get clarification on what she asked, she was rude because he couldn't hear her. Made the choice FOR him because she couldn't be bothered to repeat herself. He can't hear well in general, so that sucked. Then she came over with our order and slammed them on the table. Nobody said bye to us (but said the usual "have a nice night" to everyone else) and I could see her watching through the window as we left. Overall bad experience and I won't be going back. I don't know if its because I'm visibly queer or if they were just annoyed that my boyfriend couldn't hear well, but they didn't get an attitude with any other customers while we were there and we weren't anything but polite.

Also a lot of hard, weird black pieces of what I assume is shell or something from the nuts in my ice cream, which is the reason for the low...
