I got in about 3pm with the only other patron leaving. It was just about to rain today and even with all the traffic on the road and cars in the parking lot, I was the only costumer. I tend to like places like that. The bartender got my order in quickly along with a draft beer. I ordered the cod tacos. Food came out of the kitchen fast with the fries being just a tad colder than the tacos. Their flour tortillas were perfect. My only complaint is the amount of cheese was way too much. The coleslaw was okay, but too much as well. You could hardly taste the lime crema. The jalapeños were a nice addition though. I would suggest putting the cod down first, then slaw, pico and crema. Not a good experience, would never return. Stopped in for a quick lunch break but we were there sitting for 45 mins before our food came out. Granted we had a table of 10 people, it looked like there was only 1 guy in the kitchen so I understand its not easy I feel bad for him. They already have these big group tables set up so you would think they could handle it I guess. I had the shrimp scampi, my wife had the shrimp cocktail and the food was an absolute joke. $12 for 5 medium sized pieces of shrimp and a giant bowl of sauce for the cocktail.. not even a meal. Won't be returning and doubt they'll be open very long. Made the mistake of thinking this was a restaurant, but it's more just a bar. Except the food wasn't even good bar food. Also, they really didn't have any draught beers either, like you'd assume a bar would have. About half the food was mildly edible, the rest went in the trash. I'm genuinely unsure of why the owners wanted to open this place, other than maybe they were bored or were tired of having a boss and wanted to be the boss.
