Burger King — Restaurant in Anniston

Burger King is just “meh” as it is, but we stopped at this location because of the really cool playground they have. For a Burger King this location is actually very nice. Clean dining area, efficient cashier, Zak, and the food was good considering it is Burger King. I’m rating this location with one star because of the manager/shift leader on duty at lunch today (July 5, 2019). I did not get her name, but I noticed her because of a couple of reasons, 1. She was obnoxiously loud anytime she spoke to anyone (that’s not why she gets a bad review) and 2. because when Zak needed help on the cash register she loudly called him “useless” in front of the entire restaurant and told him to go do something else in the back and wouldn’t listen as he calmly tried to explain the situation to her. She was extremely rude to the customer who made the order. I wish I had gotten her name because she was just awful. She continued her rampage until I left and actually had one of the employees so upset she walked out on her job and left. I’ve never seen such unprofessional behavior anywhere. As someone who is supposed to be a leader, she is not very skilled in leading a team. I know it’s Burger King, but my standards for customer service (and how people treat other human beings in general)...

Stopped in to grab some food on my lunch break and had the misfortune of encountering one of the rudest people I've ever met. The old, Caucasian lady who brought me my food, laid it on the counter and walked off without acknowledging me. However she forgot my drink, no big deal, I work customer service so I make it a point to be overly nice to others, especially those on the food industry. So I patiently wait for her to come back and kindly asked for my drink. Well she looks at me like I'm lying, rolls her eyes and storms back to check my order, afterwards she reluctantly brings me the drink and slams it on the counter and storms off again. At this point I'm somewhat shocked by the interaction but still asked if I could get some sauce for my onion rings I ordered. She proceeds to tell me no, I need to pay for it and to get in line. I wouldn't have minded doing so but the way she spoke to me was appalling. She should not be working in any field involving the public. I wish I had gotten her name but I...

The food was pretty basic of any Burger King, but this place was nasty! We were stopping for a “quick” bite to eat on our way home from vacation and it took 30 minutes to get our food. I took my son into the bathroom for a diaper change, and there were 2 dirty diapers in a small trash can with paper towels everywhere along with it smelling horrible. In front of the beverage machine, there was water all over the place. Instead of cleaning it up, workers just put out wet floor signs. Trash was everywhere and trash cans were overflowing. Outside, trash was just left on tables and on the ground. The playground is very big and fun for my 2 year old, but I saw at least 5-6 roaches on the sidewalk and inside the mulch on the playground along with the outside gate being wide open.
