Our experience at the local café was certainly disappointing, and it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime venture that fell flat. We were filled with excitement as we entered, looking forward to sampling some delightful fare, but what we encountered was a stark contrast. The food turned out to be astonishingly overpriced and utterly bland, leaving us underwhelmed and regretting our choice.
After our meal, we decided to show our appreciation for our waiter with a cash tip. However, to our dismay, we later found out that he had also charged an additional $50 gratuity to our card without our consent, which left us feeling taken advantage of.
Moreover, the atmosphere was far from welcoming. The staff members seemed judgmental, casting disapproving glances in our direction as if we were out of place. It felt as though their stares were boring into us, making us self-conscious about our presence. We had simply occupied three booths as a slightly larger group, yet we sensed an air of disdain, as if we were somehow encroaching upon their space.
Despite being respectful and maintaining a moderate volume, we were treated as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. It was disheartening to feel so unwelcome in a place we had hoped would be a pleasant addition to our culinary...

I had a whole sandwich and their loaded potato fries today. Honestly the food was really quite good. The ranch that came with the fries seemed homemade and it was delicious. A good amount of cheese and bacon crumbles, and an okay amount of sliced up potatoes. I would say this was worth the price paid.
However, the sandwich was not. Granted I've had smaller, but not for $10. When I received my order I was kinda lifting the bag up and down thinking it was light, and upon seeing the sandwich my fears were realized. It was a good sandwich (roast beef club), make no mistake. It had good, fresh ingredients, but it should be priced a few dollars less. I've been burned on sandwiches at restaurants before, I think this time I've learned my lesson.
My co-worker got us a pizza yesterday. It was really quite good as well.
So, overall the food seems to be very good, but the price is higher than you might expect for what you get. I would go back, just not...
Read moreWe were driving through town and wanted to support a local restaurant with our quick lunch order. We picked Kristy’s Kafe and were glad we did. Our wait was not too long. They offer pizza and pasta, sandwiches and wraps, and we opted for the Turkey Club Wrap. It was plenty big, well flavored, fresh, and delicious. Husband said he wished we could get wraps like that where we live. I expect we could, but for those local to Anthony, or just driving through, give Kristy’s a try and you’ll be happy you did. By the way, this review was not requested or endorsed. This wrap was just one of the best meals we had on our most recent trip across...
