Skies Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Apache Junction

I have been here on and off for many years. I think this time it shows the most potential. I had the most attentive service this time. I love what they have done with the stage and dance floor section. Much more open and more room for dancing. Also really just cleaner looking presentation wise. The bands sound was much better this way. Note to the venue. DO NOT CHANGE THIS. You finally nailed it.

I had a simple chicken quesadilla. Flavor was good. The salsa was much better than I expected. Sour cream didn’t show. But I don’t need the calories. So no worries.

Music was great - Canyon State Band.... Waitress made us cash out way before we left. Stayed another couple hours and had to continually go to the bar to get drinks. She suffered cause she did not get a very good tip. Also did not check on us after food was delivered. A guy did and he was great. Never offered to bring a to go container either. Not happy with her service!!!!!

Quaint hidden bar/restaurant. Looks like it has a great dance floor. We went for burgers. I had the Blue Cheese and he had the same with bacon added (bacon was $2 for a strip). The food was hot and served rather fast. Fries were hot and good. Burgers...well, I've had better. The meat was a bit dried out and the burger was small around but about an inch thick. You couldn't fit it in your mouth with the bun. Had to ask for catsup and then for napkins and then for silverware. There were only 4 tables with customers. Blue Moon was $6 a glass. I want to go again to check the dance floor and music but will...
