Niko's Gyros — Restaurant in Appleton

Let me start by saying I’ve loved the food here for years, and that I’m usually not the type to say anything negative about anything. But my experience at nikos today left a fowl taste in my mouth. My experience started trying to get my stroller into the store, two employees watched me struggle doing so, unable to get through due to narrow entryway, no electronic door or help from the employees I had to leave the stroller wedged in the door to ask for help. The music was so loud in the store I nearly had to scream to Get anyone’s attention, after three times I was heard and the door was held. When waiting for food my son was acting up and threw the top of his sippy cup on the ground. I brought it up to the front to get it Rinsed off. A female behind the counter made eye contact with me twice not once asking if I needed help with anything. So again I had to basically scream to be Helped.While in there and waiting for food, a gentlemen brought was his food, then when mine was ready the girl set it on the counter, yelled have a good and proceeded away. May I add at this time my 18 month old was screaming and pulling my hair so the extra help of her coming out to me especially since I had planned on dinning in would have been nice. ( I was ever asked if it was dining in or out). So my only negative comment is to please please please work on your customer service. I love your food but won’t be coming Here if the service...

I was badly craving a philly cheesesteak and did a Google search for local restaurants that offer such. Niko's popped up and had excellent reviews! Upon arriving at the restaurant, my husband looked at me and said 'are you sure they're even in business, it's dark and there's no cars here, this might be a bad sign'. I explained the reviews I read that were just from a few days before, we parked and went in! No joke, had I not read the reviews, I probably wouldn't have gone in! We were very politely greeted, granted we were the only people there, the restaurant was impressively clean! I was completely taken back when we recieved our order, there was so much of everything! The value for the price was phenomenal, I didn't realize we had restaurants like this in the valley! And OH MY, the food was amazing! Came here after reading the great reviews. I had just returned from Chicago where I had some delicious gyros. I looked up gyro places in the area and this spot caught my attention. Ordered 2 gyro plates, one side with salad and other with seasoned fries.

I ordered on their website which goes through EatStreet. The price was less than $20. Eta was about 15-20 mins for pick up. Upon entering, I was greeted by a nice gentleman behind the counter. Went home opened up both styrofoam boxes and I was impressed with the amount of food. One was for me and other for my gf. The gyros were big and full of tender meat. The salad was a hit and the fries were one of the best I’ve had. I definitely recommend this place so much so that I pick up food from here at least 2-3 times a week.
